   No prime rib available when we tried to order it. We ordered the Rib Eye instead, it was so so, couldn't finish it. The rolls were great and so were the Korean Ribs. We thought it was overpriced for what we got. The service was great so made up for the other factors.

   We were very disappointed in the food and drink we had at this Kona Grill location. While our server was thoughtful, we did not enjoy our food or drinks, which were flat Cokes and a not very good Manhattan. Needless to say, we will not return to this restaurant.

   The restaurant did a good job of taking care of us despite being short of staff. The food was great and the service was excellent despite the fact they only had two servers working. The outdoor seating view is the parking garage. So I would sit inside.

   Our oldest daughter’s Dirty 30 birthday dinner. She is autistic and super picky about food. Pre-Kona Grill, we all had to drive 45 minutes south on freeway to that outlet mall where the ONLY Rainforest Cafe was located. Thank god her taste buds improved with age! We love how our sushi eaters get what they want at Kona. My carnivores get their fillets medium rare and my Mother can get her salad with chicken. One stop shop! Had to flag the waitress down to get drinks, refills & plates. It was busy though. She couldn’t find candles for on top of birthday brownie you do. So nobody sang Happy Birthday.

    We decided to pay for the potstickers and leave before ordering dinner. The potstickers were inconsistently cooked. Some were overcooked (burned). They looked like they were cooked in old oil. The “Outside Seating” was in the valet section of a parking structure.

    I’ll keep it short. The food and drinks are great! Service was not very good at all. They appeared to be understaffed which is the case for most of the country. The servers seemed annoyed and obviously didn’t want to be there. A couple of smiles go a long way. Regardless, the ambiance and the atmosphere was great.

    We were sat earlier than our reservation time, which we loved, but due to prior sat large parties, our food took much longer than it should have. The staff and management team were sure to notify us and even provided some dessert for the delay. Overall food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! From the sushi to the steaks and everything in between! Despite the delay in food, would 100% return!

    When we arrived we noticed there was a restauarant section located upstairs. We asked the hostess if we could sit in that location. She said we were welcome to check for ourselves! The correct answer would have been, let me check for you! Additionally, my salmon was overcooked. I doubt it was made fresh. However, on a positive note our server was polite and helpful.

    Service was great… mediocre sushi for the price. I looked at my receipt once I got home and can’t believe I was charge $2 for ice in my vodka drink? Who charges for rocks? Will not return

    Difficult to find if you’re visiting from out of town. Lots of steps from the parking garage to the restaurant. Extremely loud music. Great spot for younger people on that Friday night. Our group was too old. Fast service. Probably would come back for a weekday lunch. Good service and food.

    Serving time took forever, saw food sitting there for at least 15 minutes. Was freezing cold in the seating area they had the warmer half closed off, and charged me full price for items that were on happy hour menu during happy hour after I even confirmed that it was happy hour. Terrible and never plan on returning

    The scenery and ambience was mood setting. Everyone as far as employees that we came in contact with were very friendly and energetic. Made it a great experience as this was her first visit to this restaurant. We came for Valentine’s Day so of course it was busy. They were behind on reservation times about 30 to 45 minutes. I do appreciate that they made room for me in an area they were not sealing guess. This allowed us to have time to order have a couple drinks. Enjoy the scene in each other’s company and the food was magnificent. We will definitely be returning for another visit. Thank you to everyone who added to this positive experience.

    I have been going to Kona Grill for close to 20 plus years now and have enjoyed it but not so much lately. Prices have really gone up, smaller portions and quality not as good or consistent as it used to be. I get prices have to go up like everything else but shouldn't provide smaller portions. We ordered calamari for $19, and it was a very small portion (nothing like before), and it was half calamari and half shishito peppers. We wanted calamari not shishito peppers for an appetizer. They did away with their house salad which used to make a great side dish with an appetizer or a meal. Now the cheapest small salad is priced at $13, and waiter said there is no other option for a side salad. Sliders were okay but very small number of fries came with them. Not sure when we will go back again.

    Accessed the menu via scan code on the table, then were told that was the wrong menu. Slow service. Still waiting for birthday cake after bill paid. We had to find the waitress to get the cake. Then we were asked to leave as we had been there too long.

    Impossibly noisy although we asked for a quieter area. My drink didn’t come until after I was 2/3 finished with my dinner. It was an awful cosmo and I sent it back when it finally arrived. My macadamia chicken was ok although a little too rare for me. It was so dark in the restaurant, it was very had to see your meal.

    I tried the Korean Barbeque Ribs for the very first time, and was very surprised at how meaty and good they were! Yummy! I will have those again for sure! Also, the Ribeye Meatballs are fabulous as a large appetizer choice to share. Service was great. Friendly staff.

    Server was good. The ambiance is okay. Feels a little sterile and the fish look so sad in the foggy tank with murky water. It kind of smells like wet dish towels in there too… but good happy hour if that’s what you’re looking for!

    Had not been to a Kona Grill in a while but recently had been talking about their miso glazed Chilean sea bass and had a craving for it. My GF ordered the clam chowder soup that might have had two clams in it and sent it back as it was terrible. The miso soup replacement was much better, but the temperature was Luke warm. She also ordered the coconut shrimp roll which was difficult to find the shrimp in. The sea bass was no where near what I had experienced before as the sauce was too heavy on one ingredient. The last bite of the sea bass reminded me of what it tasted like before, but for $38 the fish did not melt in my mouth like it used to and the size of the fish was underwhelming.
