   Our service was really great, though a little crazy finding the entrance to the regular restaurant tables with the construction since we had a mobility scooter and needed to find the elevator. Our calamari was overcooked but quickly remade and the second was good. The rest of our meal was excellent.

   Happy hour food was good to very good. Not fantastic. Pricing for Happy Hour was great. Due to construction at the mall, it was noisy and not appealing for a meal. Service was acceptable but stellar. We will try its new location at Desert Ridge when it opens.

   The one bright note during our visit was our server. Although the food was OK, the ambiance told me I was eating in a unsafe construction zone. I will visit again when the mall developer finishes the work on your end of the mall. As an FYI, if I were you, I would be concerned about the safety of the “cement” stairs that we had to take from the parking entry to the hostess stand. I see a lawsuit ready to happen.

   I wouldn't recommend ordering the steak to anyone. The sushi was good and the cheesecake was good. Service was slow, but it was decently priced

   The service was poor and it was pretty pricey but we thought the food would be worth it. It wasn’t. This was a last resort choice on our way out of the mall but we won’t make that mistake again.

   Food was great! Service by our server was a bit slow. But nothing that would prevent us from visiting again. And during our meal...the lights were dimmed and it was actually too dark in my opinion. We were seated in the back area towards the bathroom. Other than that...all was good.

    There for Arizona Restaurant Week. $33 meal deal was great. Sweet & Blue salad excellent. Salmon without the glaze terrific. Double-stack brownie was outrageously good. Only problem was while eating in the bar the music playing was wat too loud. I could hardly hear my server. Ratings for noise should include noisy or extremely noisy because it was.     It was a bit disappointing. I ordered the Macadamia Nut Chicken. It was not the same as the other Kona Grill restaurants . That was my favorite dish! This dish was thin and it was more like a Panko Crust.

    Ordered crab eggs benedict...one egg cooked perfectly the other egg there wasn't even a yolk. Served on a thin slice of bread....not an English muffin like stated on the menu.

    Everything was great except the service from the hostesses. Our reservation for a birthday was set for 5:15pm. My wife and I arrived at 5:05pm. We were told they hadn’t gotten a chance to get our table ready. Understood. We showed up 10 minutes before our reservation so that was not a problem at all. The issue was that we did not get sat until 5:45pm. The restaurant, of course, had business, but it was not very busy as I had walked to the restroom and saw that about 90% of the tables in the restaurant had food and drinks at their tables. At 5:15, we were told that we needed 4 people from our 8 person party had to be in attendance. We had 3 people there. Mind you, I was there a month prior for a reservation for 6 people and my wife and I were sat, immediately while we waited on the rest of our party. As we were waiting, another lady and her daughter showed up for a 5:30pm reservation at around 5:25pm for 8 people. They were sat, immediately. At 5:40pm, I went to the host stand and asked why they continue to sit people, reservations and walk-ins, but we are still waiting for our table for a 5:15pm reservation. She advised me that I now need my whole party at the host stand in order to be sat. I advised that she had sat 2 ladies that clearly had an 8 party reservation and their party was not with them so that didn’t make sense. She rolled her eyes and went back to looking at the seating chart. At that time, the rest of my party showed up and we were sat at our table at 5:45pm. Again, having worked in the service industry, I completely understand if a restaurant is busy or if a reservation gets forgotten. Just be honest with the customer and let them know. Blatantly lying about how the restaurant goes about having a certain number of your party present to be sat, when a month prior, I was sat without having a full party there AND you sat another party of 2 who were waiting on 6 more after my reservation is not acceptable. Other than that, our server and food were great

    It was so loud it was like eating in a nightclub. The food took an hour & was not worth the price tag. Steak was thin & fatty. Sushi was blah. Would have been better for the whole family to just eat at the mall food court.

    Service was slow and we waited forever for our food and I had to request water over and over again. They had no enough servers for the tables. It took at least 40 minutes for our food. I didn’t eat much it was so spicy it burned my mouth

    Food was absolutely great. My sashimi was perfect. Wife’s noodles were absolutely delicious and perfect. A bit on the higher side for the price but still worth it. Our server was absolutely lovely and attentive and made us feel right at home. Tuna tartare is an absolute must when dining here.

    Had a dinner with a business associate - the server was fine - he provided insights to he menu and such - it seemed like the restaurant was short of a lot of items and no draft available - likely won’t rush back as I Hinal there are better options.

    Music was far too loud. Could not converse with my son very well. I have very sensitive hearing and the sound level of music was almost painful, similar to a loud rock concert. Server Elena was good but forgot to ask us how we wanted our steaks cooked.

    We felt the food was well above average good to excellent service was good. Like past reviews have said the music was too loud really hurt the ambience. I can see it if it’s Saturday night, but this was Sunday around 1 o’clock.

    Our brunch came out over cooked and they had to redo it but our girl was very helpful and had them remade. And then after getting a lot of mimosas, the regular brunch mimosas were not the same as the Easter brunch mimosas? And I wasn’t too happy being charged for regular ones. And our view of the torn apart mall wasn’t the best but we had a good time all together.

    When seated there were no utensils or napkins. Steak was lukewarm, couldn't melt the butter they put on top. Playing dubstep and baby shark remixes for some reason. No salt in room temp mashed potatoes. Steak tasted great otherwise, really liked the horseradish sauce

    Kona grill does it for me in so many ways. Their happy hours specially when you are with a huge group, it’s amazing. I love that they include wide range of items. When hungry, hit Kona! Me and my husband specifically love the chicken satay, the sushi rolls mostly all, meatballs.

    We came for our monthly date night and we were not disappointed! The service and food was great!!! We got the date night special which came with an appetizer, two entrees and a dessert for only $39/person!!! I would definitely recommend. There’s construction going on at the mall that was the only downside. It killed the ambiance.

    This restaurant's food was excellent. The combination of American and Asian foods worked well. My preferred rolls were vegetarian ones. Our server was very pleasant and gave us the best customer service . The service was prompt, and everyone—from our server to the kitchen staff—was friendly and upbeat toward us. Overall, we had a great positive experience here, and I strongly recommend it.
