Food, service and atmosphere were all excellent and I most certainly will be back - SOON.
Really nice and attentive waitress, lovely food and rustic charm! Great place for a business lunch - will be back soon!
Hit and miss. Some appetizers were good and others mediocre. Fish okay but small portion. Service just okay. No real connection with us. Not a good understanding of the wine by the glass to give advice.
The food was great but the server was stuck up and rude. Second time I have found this here. It's really too bad as the food and ambiance are so great and the server sort of ruined it. Wont be back for a while anyway
Amazing food. We will be back!
Food was bland (not even seasoned with salt). Asked for balsamic vinegar and they said they don’t have any yet there was some in my salad. The mushroom salad was good (after they finally gave a little extra dressing, initially they said I couldn’t have more dressing and it was dry). The figs stuffed with sausage had barely a crumble of sausage in each fig. The pasta was completely bland (tasted like plain boiled pasta). Terrible food overall.
Food and service were exceptional as usual. We arrived early and they were able to accommodate us.
We always include La Bettola Di Terro while we are participating with TIFF - Toronto International Film Festival. Great location for watching shows at the Winter Garden and Elgin theaters . We enjoy lunch, dinner and late night dinning . Friendly neighborhood feel with nice selection of specialty offerings .
Best Italian food in Toronto. Staff is great and Andrena is always a delight to see and takes care of all and makes sure everyone is taken care of. Perfect place to take clients.
We are in Toronto a couple of times each year and always make time for La Bettola di Terroni. It consistent and always fresh. An Italian treat in Canada.
Very solid Italian restaurant close to downtown. The lamb ragu was fantastic, and the decor is great. Would recommend for date night after the theatre or for business lunches/dinners.
Would’ve been a better experience if not seated right by the door which kept opening every 5 minutes ( and it was cold outside).
Food was delicious though!
Great pit stop during TIFF. Great informed service from Sarah.
C’est un bel endroit. La serveuse était bête et pas intéressée. Elle ne semblait pas aimé son travail! Le prix des appetizers est exorbitant!
Pour le positif, La nourriture était délicieuse .
Best Italian in Toronto hands down. Amazing food and service. Love this place.
Great food. I recommend it for anyone who enjoys Italian.
The food is always great and portions are good.
Service can be hit or miss and the hostess was not very friendly.
This should be noted and addressed because this adds to the overall experience.
Truffle pasta is so good
Great food, great service and an outstanding wine list
Always a delight. Top top notch authentic Italian cooking. The real deal.
Seriously if you fon’t Want onions on a salad should this not be possible?? I am the customer! Hostess attempted to explain why no substitutions were possible but it was an extremely poor excuse. Other restaurants, even McDonals can manage changes.
The serving sizes for what you pay were small, but the food was good. If you are really hungry and are on a budget, I would go somewhere else, otherwise this is a great place to visit with a comfortable environment.
Yummy food, served by delightful hosts, in a lovely room. Always a fan favourite !
La Bettola has amazing Italian food. It stands out from the crusty bread with pure olive oil to the amazing Italian wines. I was treated to a discussion of each course by my host. They take great care in everything they serve and I could taste it. The handmade pasta is fantastic. I rarely eat so slowly that I can savor every bite. The restaurant is fairly small and so I would recommend reservations. The location is just on the edge of the financial district and so it was very convenient for a business dinner.
The carbonara here is easily the best I've had in the city, done very close to the traditional way. The rest of the meal was equally as fantastic!
We always look for authentic Italian when we travel for pizza thin crust and great pasta options The bread was perfect and we loved our meal Already recommended to a few locals we know in Toronto
Great service, timely etc. Sat a bit close to the other tables around us but was ok.
My spaghetti with tomato and basil was very good! I also had the Terroni sour drink. Delicious!
Ottimo! Miglior ristorante in città.
Piatti tipici italiani non contaminati dai sapori americano canadesi.
Has everything one wants in a first class Italina restaurant. Excellent but discreet service (one does not need to know the servers name), a wide variety of meals to choose from including daily specials, fantastic white wines, good spacing between tables an overall pleasant and charming ambience
Exceptional Italian food!
Excellent food, small portions. Great atmosphere for a pre show meal
Great. Good food. Nice ambience
The food is authentic and the service is courteous and efficient. If there’s a criticism of this restaurant, it’s that the tables are small and cramped.
Waitress was amazing!!!
Great food snd excellent service
Buono, Bravi, Brillanti! Atmosfera stupenda. Ingredienti importati, che si NOTANO!
Excellent meal and service for us and our friends as we did family style dishes. Elena (owner) helped us select a nice wine to compliment and the evening was fantastic. Our 3rd visit (not our last for sure)! Enjoy!
Super friendly staff from the hostess to the waitress. Their pizza is spectacular, however my pasta was slightly undercooked. The ambiance of the restaurant is one of the best I’ve ever been to, not just because motown songs are my favorite; but it did help. Definitely recommend coming here for any occasion, totally coming back to order that pizza!
Kids really liked the pizza. I agreed and thought the dough was perfect.
My pasta dish (Chitarra Norcina) was cooked well (al dente) but wasn't warm when it was served. It was tasty but relied a little too heavily on garlic. I thought the portion was a little on the small side for a 29$ pasta dish but hey I'm not from Toronto.
The antipasto (Tagliere) was also on the light side for 24$ I thought. Three smallish pieces of mortadella and salami each. A reasonable amount of two different cheeses though I didn't catch the names. Some olives and sun dried tomatoes. Tasty but trim.
We waited a long time for our mains (60 + minutes). This was acknowledged by our server which makes it a little easier to tolerate.
