It was great, pretty authentic too when compared to pizzeria's you would find over in Tuscany and other cities in Italy. The service was terrific, a little loud but expected on a Saturday evening, and if you've never had a G&T before or are hesitant to do so: this is the place to try one.. You'll understand when you order it ;) Will be back for sure, thanks for a great pre-show meal La Bettola!

Sadly this was a disappointing trip to Terroni, in large part because of the service, but also because of a problem with the food. Our waiter seemed distracted - he had on a smart watch and was even looking at it when he took our orders. Everything was slow to arrive and we waited and waited throughout the evening - we were planning on having dessert but ran out of time. And then to make things worse, one person found a big piece of plastic in their salad. Because the service was so slow, we actually had to flag someone down to report it. Someone (maybe the manager? they didn't identify themselves) came to the table to tell us the plastic was part of the packaging of the burrata - I think the intent was to make them feel better that the food wasn't an unknown object, but it really didn't help the situation. They didn't charge for the salad, which I think was the least they could do. The other food was still great but we are now hesitant to return - and it is too bad as we've had much better experiences in the past. Based on this experience we can't recommend

Nice dinner before the theatre delicious daily soup with beans and spinach. Both pastas we had were great and filling one complaint they both could have been hotter in temperature.

food was great, service was quite terrible tbh. From the moment we arrived for our reservation, it felt as if we were being rushed, as if they had a turnaround time for tables. We asked if we get bread included with our meal and our waitress said yes... we waited 30 minutes but never received it so i asked the bus boy or whatever, and he said "oh yea our oven is malfunctioning" . like okaY? Our waitress never made us aware of this situation and acted completely blind. after our meals were finished they came back to ask if we still wanted the bread and I said "well if i say no, do we get a discount" and they looked at me as if i had two heads lol and said no. My friend asked for the orechiette with out sausage and they said it was not possible. Other than that, the place itself is very pretty, th e service is quite quick and the food is good. The attitude of the staff is terrible though

A favourite dinner spot! Always delicious and great service. We showed up 45 minutes early- on a busy Saturday eve, we’re supposed to be at the bar ( only reservation available) and they managed to seat us at a great table in minutes! Best Terroni by far!!

I thought the restaurant was conveniently located in downtown Toronto. The reception and atmosphere was extremely welcoming and comfortable. I would definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Italian cuisine.

The food is reliable and well presented. The ambience is fine - it can be a bit crowded at peak times and the tables are close together. I’ve been several times and usually the service is good. This time the server ignored us after delivering the main course. He was taking his time showing baby pictures from his phone to a couple of other guests. The manager was shirty when I asked him for the bill. I would have expected him to apologize and simply provide the bill. Unfortunately he started to argue that our server was busy. He later apologized but that’s not what you expect in the service business.

Seven of us dined prior to a concert at Massey Hall. Our server was friendly and very professional. She was helpful helping us navigate the menu for one of our guests who has gluten and dairy intolerance. Extensive wine list with a good range of pricing. We had a variety of appetizers and pasta as our mains. All nicely prepared and presented. All yummy. Keep up the good work. We will be back and will recommend to others.

I was very disappointed with the Frito Misto appetizer. I expected a least a plateful of calamari and shrimp, but instead there were literally about 3 -4 medium sized shrimp and about 5 small calamari rings with 3 shishedo peppers that were not done well. I expected a lot more for an appetizer that costs $29.00!

The menu is not for people who are vegetarian/vegan. No options. Unfortunately also service was slow and lacking. Food we did order was bland and cold and overpriced. Last time we will choose this restaurant. Really gone downhill.

Recommend for sure. Had an 7.30 show at the Winter Garden. We wanted a good restaurant somewhere close by that would be able to seat us and understood the time constraints. We arrived for the reservation at 5.45, had drinks apps and mains not rushed. We were on our way to the event by 7.0 after great food a nice glass of wine.
