Lovely small restaurant with warm and buzzy atmosphere. I love Terroni restaurants but this was not my best meal experience at Bettola. I had the carpaccio and caprese together as my meal. The carpaccio was wildly over salted-I like salt but, truly, a heavy hand with the truffle salt in the kitchen almost rendered an otherwise perfect carpaccio inedible. The caprese consisted of a whole mozzerella di buffalo (also quite salted) and a small tomato cut into 1/8 slices circling it. I feel for $23 it could have been made to look a little more substantial-greens on the side of the dish, perhaps? an extra 1/2 of an heirloom tomato? Buffalo nicely sliced? I will admit to being skeptical about whether the cheese really was buffalo as it was quite rubbery and without the creamy quality that fresh buffalo mozzerella should have. All in all, I was underwhelmed. Service was attentive and efficient.

There isn’t anything that I could complain about. Every bite of food was exquisite and you can taste the love that goes into it. Our waiter was very friendly and had great suggestions on menu choices. We would gladly visit again

The food was nice and everyone liked it. Our waiter never came back after taking our order. We never got to order any drinks nor have our water replenished. In the end, I had to go to the front to get the bill for our table.

Excellent night out, with delicious food our waitress was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. We had tickets to a show at Massey Hall afterward, so this restaurant proved to be a great walkable choice.

Had a terrible experience. Firstly when ordering drinks the waiter rushed us into making a decision, saying 'it's not that difficult.' We asked for a bread basket for starters, we got three small pieces of bread. After asking for San Pellegrino, the waiter looked at me weird; They did not have it. This is one of the most well known Italian drinks, you'd think an Italian restaurant has this drink. For the main course I wanted a pizza calzone; This they also did not have; Weird for an "Italian" place. The ravioli as the main course was decent yet the portion was tiny enough to leave me unsatisfied. I had tiramisu as dessert which tasted and looked like they ordered it for cheap and stored it in their fridge for weeks. Finally I had an espresso which was actually good. After we paid the waiter did not wish us a pleasant evening or say anything for that matter; The waiter just grabbed the paying device and walked away. To top it of the people next to us were watching Youtube videos on full volume. After 10 minutes of letting it happen and no employee saying anything about it I told them myself to please shut it off. Terrible fake Italian restaurant with rude service, small portions and a noisy atmosphere.

Really disappointing experience. Pappardelle was cold and server looked confused when I told him. I had to ask to warm it up and it came back without so much as an apology. Tastes like it was in the fridge and they have assedly warmed it up. The gnocchi was also cold and soggy. Cacio decent. We also had three different servers. Overall I’ve been here a few times, the vibe is nice but today the food was a real let down. I was upset my boyfriend tipped the standard because the food was really bad and the service was too. Honestly felt like they were just disrespecting the food at that point. I wouldn’t recommend - go to little Italy or even Terroni if you want to eat Italian

What a venue. So inviting and the service was outstanding. We were well looked after. Meal was so delicious, so yummy and great recommendation from our server for the appetizer! Thank you so much, would totally tell my friends and family to make it a point to go when in Toronto.

Our first time here but we will be back. Loved our drinks and our dinner. Fish special was one of the best meals I have had at a restaurant in a long time. Highly recommend for a fun dinner.

A very cold carpaccio out of the fridge, a floury and warm gnocchi, one of the worst I have had. A nice ravioli with pumpkin (because it’s sweet), again not hot just warm. A below average tiramisu, and the wines were expensive for what they were, average. All could be rates higher if the price tag was different. So you pay premium for a 3 star mid-level Italian food, which by the way is hard not to be good at… Maybe other pastas and pizzas were better, but it was a total disappointment for us last night.

Overall, a very nice experience at the Bettola Di Terroni. Fast and friendly service and the food was very good. Overall, the evening was very good. Great spot if you are in need of a spot to go before a evening at the theatre.
