   La Brasa is rebounding after lockdown! The menu seems to have grown, and the service has really improved. The space is so lovely. Our favorite dishes were the ribs, fried rice and elote. Nice cocktails too! Worth a drive, and easy metered parking.

   Cool vibe but would not recommend. Food is overpriced. We ordered nachos and only a few chips had toppings. Drinks were pretty good. Charged us for water. Left after appetizers because service was so slow.

   Was super disappointed. The food was so expensive and was not even prepared properly or taste like quality ingredients. I ordered a quesadilla and the tortilla was honestly cold and stale and not enjoyable at all. Guac was good though. Our waiter was not attentive at all, had to remind them multiple times to bring our food/drinks that we ordered. The music was great, but honestly too loud. That noise level is great for clubs, but we’re at a restaurant here and I’d like to talk to my friends next to me without having to yell. Also - we were rushed so much to get out of there. They asked us “are you ready? You guys are all set” We hadn’t even gotten our check to pay. Then they came back a second time “you guys are all set and ready to leave” We hadn’t even gotten our credit card back. Only come here if you want bad service, bad quality food, and to be rushed out.

    It’s overpriced for the quality of food. The menu is limited. Appeals more for young professionals in the area that have not had real Spanish food.

    Everyone was so welcoming and being able to speak to the chef and The open kitchen is a great experience. The food was PHENOMENAL!! I had the rib eye from Fat Hen and my date had the Bronzino also from Fat Hen and both dishes were so flavorful but not overt and perfectly cooked. Extremely delicious and already planning our next time going. The chef is a Beast with flavor. Just right! The deviled eggs with caviar (we added the caviar) we’re spot on and the octopus from La Brasa was tender and paired surprisingly well with the Mexican inspired flavors. Overall a MUST COME AND EXPERIENCE Ps: only took pictures of the octopus and deviled eggs bc we were so wrapped up in our entrees and how good they were that we completely forgot.

    The food was really well prepared, ingredients tasted fresh and we liked the interpretations of the entrees. The desserts also hit the spot. Unfortunately we felt there were still some something "off" with the service and waiting a little too long at the hostess desk without a greeting was our first impression. Understanding restaurants are still dealing w staff issues since the pandemic, but not sure we will be back bc of those moments that sort of imprinted the experience as less than worthwhile for us.

    The flavor of the all the food was very good but way over priced. We shared a bunch of plates but all them where way too small for the price and what they were. The pork on the nachos was delicious the burger was very good. Quesadilla was sample and not worth $25.00 at all. It is a regular quesadilla that you can get anywhere for less than $15.00.

    Very mediocre food in a nice setting with attentive waitstaff. Our ceviche was bitter with large pieces of crushed peppercorn that were very unpleasant to eat. The bits of fish were tiny like it had marinaded too long and everything fell apart. The tacos were ok but disintegrated even though they were eaten immediately. Everything was incredibly salty and lacking flavor. The $15 margaritas were sweet and watery. Just a bummer overall and quite expensive.

    Hadn’t been to La Brasa in quite some time. Our server was lovely & gave helpful recommendations. The cocktails & assorted small plates we ordered did not disappoint and the flan was muy delicioso! Laid back atmosphere, good tunes & easy parking. We really enjoyed our evening!

    Food was delicious and ambience is so cool. Wait staff was not very attentive. They came by once to take our order and to deliver our food but otherwise forgot our drinks and never asked if we wanted to order anything else etc. Generally our interactions with our waiter were very short and curt. Otherwise we really enjoyed our experience and we’d totally come back, especially for the elote and tostada.

    It’s not often I write a review, but in this case I felt it necessary. We arrived early for our reservation and had cocktails at the bar. The bar server was very good and attentive. Once we were stationed at our table, we placed out order for food. At this point, the restaurant’s service imploded. There were seven us around the table. Our sides arrived about 15 minutes before the main dishes. Each of us got our meals spaced 20 minutes apart (fish – steak – tacos). The waitress who took our order pretty much disappeared until the end. We order more sides to accompany the main dishes, only for them to arrive after everyone had finished their dinner. All in all, a most unsatisfactory experience. It was clear to us that the kitchen had no clue in pushing out the right meals at the right time; and the table service was poorly coordinated and inattentive.

    Cool vibe and great drinks. Food was very good but a bit on the heavy side sometimes. There were about 2 servers for the whole space which is huge so that was tough but other staff that chipped in were very helpful. Will prob go back for drinks and small bite.

    surprisingly large space. hosted a birthday dinner there and had a reservation for 12 that quickly grew to 16 and they were able to accommodate that which was amazing! The space was nice, my friends kept comenting on the plants and decor which they loved. The food was amazing! Octopus was perfectly cooked, not chewy, the steaks were also delicious and if you like spicey drinks, go for the el diablo!

    This was our first time here. We accidentally ordered two octopus dishes and quickly told our server we would only like one. We sat for 40 minutes and watched as a table that came in 30 minutes after us received their apps in less than 5 minutes. (I would also like to note someone other than our sever came over once in the 40 or so minutes to check on us) We never received our appetizer. However, we did receive the chicken entree that we ordered to share and it was amazing! When they dropped the check the octopus we never got was on the check. They were quick to fix once we mentioned it never came. I’m hoping for a better experience if I go again.

    Everything about the experience was good; some of it was great. Cons: mediocre guacamole with much too much lime, very noisy, smoky/muddy tasting deviled eggs. Pros: cochinita pibil tacos, steak, tortillas, Mexican cab by the hlass. Possibly the best roast chicken anywhere ever. Definitely worth checking out

    My husband and I loved La Brasa when we lived in Somerville a few years back. This was our first time returning since the pandemic and they did not disappoint! The food is fantastic, the drinks are delicious, and the service was wonderful. Shoutout to the espresso martini and the flan!

    We love La Brasa! The food is excellent (we’re vegetarian, so we get several smaller things), the cocktails are delicious (both the alcoholic ones and the zero-proof), the atmosphere is great, and the staff are so amazing and friendly.

    The food quality was good, but there weren't a lot of choices on the menu. They didn't have any kind of soda and no sides with your entree. That's extra on top that is on the pricey side $$$. overall 7.5 out of 10
