Don't call it a wine bar. At least proprietor Michael Morton, of the famous Morton restaurant family, prefers not to describe his unique La Cave concept in such limited terms. With its tempting small plates menu, stylish surroundings and well rounded beer and spirits selection, La Cave is about more than simply good wine. This cozy Wynn hideaway is a wonderland of coved ceilings, wrought iron, polished woods and glass panels. Chef Bill DeMarco crafts a beguiling menu of flatbreads, tapas-like small plates, grilled meats and platters of charcuterie and gourmet cheese - each meant to be a perfect pairing to one of La Cave's many wines. With its sexy and fun vibe, this cave devoted to vino-pleasures comes replete with an outdoor dining terrace overlooking landscaped gardens and pools. Morton sums it up best, "I want people to leave feeling as though they just went to the best dinner party. Great food, great wine, great music, great friends"

    We had a group of 8 and had fabulous service and all of our food was excellent. Loved the ambiance. The craft cocktails were lots of fun and very interesting/enjoyable. We would definitely recommend La Cave. We all enjoyed the entire experience.

    Horrible experience. Sunday inly option was a branch, which was not worth it . You could not choose from the menu. it was a fixed plate menu.

    We were one of the first to be seated for the brunch, unfortunately we were also the last to be served from the trays if they ever came to us at all. Food was cold, eggs were watery ube pancake was good but again took 75 minutes to get one. Not worth the price, other butler style buffets are worth it, because you get hot food, and your not at the mercy of the wait staff hoping they can remember where they ran out of food while serving guests.

    This restaurant was poorly managed and not well organized. In addition to the high price of the brunch (49$ + taxes), they also charge extra for coffee. The service was extremely poor, with a wait of over 20 minutes during brunch. The waitstaff was unresponsive and the food was mediocre. There are much better options available, like the excellent buffet at Wynn next door. Overall, this was a disappointing experience and I would not recommend it to anyone. PS: 2 stars just because it's within Wynn!

    Love La Cave! We come every year for New Years, however, I will say that this year the brunch pricing went up over $20 which is not a lot - HOWEVER.. you can't up what you charge if you aren't also going to keep the same standards of service. We saw our dedicated waitress 2 times the entire visit (to say hi and to get paid) so we made every request or order through the water boys and buffet servers, which is inefficient since they have to then take the time to stop and go give the order to someone else. Other than that, amazing as always!

    New Years Day Brunch The concept of dim sum style buffet doesn’t work. It was like being in a bee hive, people buzzing by constantly asking if I wanted this and that. We would just start a conversation and get interrupted. I felt rushed and annoyed. The tables are exposed and not cozy and inviting. The food was cold and really just ok.     Went for New Years dinner here. Unfortunately the experience left a lot to be desired. The tasting menu was very bland and the plating was poor. You would expect a beautiful presentation for the cost but it was mediocre at best. Very disappointed.

    Food was excellent but service was terrible. New Years dinner set menu was expensive and would have been worth it if the service was good but automatic gratuity already added to bill appears to have made our waitress not care. Never checked on us once to ask how food was or if we wanted more drinks. Disappointing and won’t go back.

    My wife and I are big wine lovers. We go to Napa once a year and I’ve tried wines from all over the world. We were on familiar with most of the ones on the list which itself is not a horrible thing because you can try something new, unfortunately everything we tried was just mediocre and expensive. The food was average at best. We did not sit on the patio but by the bar and again just average nothing special. I’ve actually been to this restaurant several times in the past and had a much better experience left. Service was just OK. The next morning, however, we had brunch at the same restaurant. I almost canceled because I. Had this experience the night before. So glad I didn’t cancel. Brunch was amazing! I’ll review that next.

    Excellent visit. The butler style service is essentially a reverse buffet. Individual items can be accepted or denied and all we tasted were flavourful and best of all you can enjoy as much as you want!

    We visited on Christmas Eve with our family including 13 year old twins. It was a perfect spot to share a bunch of small plate dishes and have cocktails before a show. We all agreed that the food was the best we’ve had on the strip.

    Food was pretty good ! Service was def good. We have to wait a long time for a “view” table and then we were seated at this little tiny two seater table. Had to put the menus on the floor. Tables should be larger for the price and because it is Tapas so you are ordering more than one plate each. -

    We celebrated my moms birthday here! They were very busy but we’re still able to seat us early. The Brussel sprouts, risotto, kale salad and wine flights were awesome! The dessert and short rib tacos around us also looked delicious. Madison was lovely

    Sat directly in the sun. The windows do not have shades. If we were in a more shady spot I’m sure I’d have nothing but good things. Overall the food and experience was great.

    Food, service and ambiance were all very good. The wine flights were a nice way to try different wines. Only complaint was the noise level. So loud it was hard to have a conversation. Don't know why the music has to be so loud.

    Lovely restaurant with an interesting menu selection. The flat bread was amazing and enough for several people. Their "small plates" are nicely sized for sharing as well. Professional and attentive staff took great care of us without hovering. Nice view of the courtyard.

    We went to la cave for a wedding brunch and it was an absolute delight. The ambience was gorgeous. I love the style of buffet where the waitstaff brings out a variety of foods which eliminates the stress of typical buffet style dining. Food was delicious, drinks were well made and they allow you to switch the flavor of your bottomless drink. I absolutely loved it. Our waiter was very attentive but not overbearing. We dined in December and the windows were open and the temperature was perfect. They were very accommodating as we had a last minute (7 days prior) guest add on. Great service. Honestly, this place will be on our return visit itinerary.
