We had a wonderful meal at the bar. Our friends joined us for dessert and they made room for all of us to sit and enjoy dessert together. I had the salmon and my husband had the mussels as his entree. Everything was delicious, desserts were fabulous! Thanks for a great evening!

Blake was a spectacular waitress - knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The cocktail list had us wanting more and while the menu is small it covers every taste. We had so much fun.

The escargot was 10 out of 10, the steak although I ordered it extra rare was medium rare was a 8 out of 10, french fries were 8 out of 10. Broccolini was a 9 out of 10. The creme brulee 9 out of 10. Espresso was good. The atmosphere is nice. But the thing that made the whole experience not good was the child screaming at the top of his lungs for an hour, literally not figuratively with the parents not taking the child out. We were not the only one who was upset about this patrons all around us were talking about it and upset. Limited menu. Bread was fantastic!

There was four of us dining. The service was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. We all four had a different entree — salmon, cod, scallops, and strip steak — and every one of us thought our food was fantastic. Hat’s off the the chef and team.

We had a good experience overall. Server was excellent. Bartender A+. I had my mind set on the chicken dish, but one of the specials was scallops, so the disappointment was my fault, because I made the change. They were just OK and very pricey. Everything else was great so I will definitely return to give it another try.

Our server (Catherine?) was attentive. The (obligatory) escargot was fantastic, even though they were not it the shells, and the olive oil/garlic sauce was perfect. The bread was perfect. After having the 'default' bread at other nice restaurants, this legit French bread was heavenly. The lump crab cake appetizer was the best crab cake my wife had ever had, and although it's not one of my go-to's, it was crazy good. The portions of the main meal were just right, but the dessert menu was woefully lacking; (3) items including a 'not warm' flan. Definitely on our 'Date Night' list.

LaChasse scallops special was magnificent! Also had the peach burrata salad--also delicious. Food was excellent. It is very noisy though, difficult to have a conversation with table mates.

La Chasse is one of our favorites! The owner and staff are friendly and focused on their guests having a great experience. Last night, I had the salmon with mushroom risotto, and topped with crispy shallots. Delicious! My wife and I split orders of crab cake and also escargot. Blake, our bartender/server, helped to make our evening a really really enjoyable one! Every time we visit La Chasse we see other "regulars", so you know the food, drinks, and atmosphere, are consistently A+.

The escargots were serviceable. the steak au poivre could barley be described as such. the sultanas in the sauce were completely unnecessary and there was no evidence of a pepper crust. the chocolate mousse should be avoided.

Second visit to this small, cozy French restaurant on Bardstown Road. The meals that my wife and I ordered were absolutely excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the grilled brie and our burrata salads. My crab encrusted cod was excellent, and Kay thought the same of her lobster roll special. The only downside was the length of time we had to wait for courses to arrive. Despite arriving early, with few people in the restaurant, our dinner took more than two hours. To be fair, we were offered desserts on the house because of the long wait, but we declined. It was time to depart. Looking back at notes from our first visit, that meal took quite a while as well. We chalked that off to it being a holiday weekend with a full house. We will probably give them one more chance because the food was excellent. Hopefully they will figure out how to speed things up.

We are regular customers at La Chasse, and this visit was very good as usual. Appetizers were great, we had the Brie and salmon Crostini. Best Caesar salad in town! Entrées were fantastic, I think they have the best salmon anywhere. We enjoy the space/ambience, and the service was on point. Highly recommended!

Interesting and classy ambience greets you when you enter, followed quickly by a pleasant greater who seats you. Wait staff is expertly trained, pleasant and helpful; food is expertly prepared; the desserts amazing and the coffee is, naturally, French press. Cocktails of all sorts seems to be the specialty, but they do have a nice wine selection as well. Not inexpensive, but the quality and staff interaction is impressive.

We started with a scallop appetizer special that was out of this world. I got the chicken that was delicious as well and the chocolate dessert with orange whip cream was amazing!! It’s always good. Blake our server was great as always too!

I feel La Chasse is the best restaurant in Louisville. I love the atmosphere, food and service. Isaac, the owner is wonderful, as well as the bartender, Hunter. Carefully crafted cocktails and a well chosen wine list. It is a top notch establishment.

It was a little loud for us but that's to be expected on a Friday night. The food was great, I can't get crispy chicken like what they serve and the wine pairing recommended by our wait staff was perfect....and dessert was amazing.
