   We booked LA Chasse for a birthday dinner for 6. It is almost a secret. It looks closed from the outside but once you open the door, it’s a nice restaurant inside. The menu is pretty limited. I think there was 6 dinner choices, 3 salads and 5 or 6 appetizers. We ordered the Brie app and a cheese board. The charcuterie and cheese was a great value. The baked Brie was just ok. No sweetness as promise. Berries, jam or a sweet nut may have made it more of a statement. The salmon was cooked perfectly, someone said it was the best burger ever and the salads were solid. I had a burrata salad but the Argus was very sour. The peas were delicious. Just wanted more. We had a tough time getting drinks and our server never noticed empty glasses. We had to flag her down to order as well. I think it’s definitely worth trying but service will prevent me from rushing back. I had been there once before and the specials are always a safe bet on satisfaction.

   The cocktails were delicious and the food outstanding! One of the best margaritas I have had and the Cauliflower Steak with lemon-miso chimichurri was so amazing, can't wait to go back!

   The server was good and very attentive. Escargot was a bit salty. The pate appetizer and baked brie were delicious, although the bread was also a bit salty. It was overall very good. The entrees were delicious. It is a very good place and what you should expect for the price.

    Madison made our night! Great service and banter! The food was very good. When we were first seated near the back of the restaurant we kept our jackets on as that part of the restaurant was very cold. Once they were made aware, they adjusted the temperature, so, by the end of the evening we were quite comfortable. A fun evening!

    Once again the new menu is impressive 💯Two new appetizer’s, one meat and one fish, were the perfect share for the four of us. Then on to two delicious fish entrees. We were dinning with one of the top restaurant owners in our city. She had helped a few of the staff along their journey to high end food service. They both came out to express appreciationappreciation to her, and her guidance showed in the impeccable service we received. Isaac and his staff always make a visit to LaChasse an incredible dining experience

    I visited La Chasse with 5 friends for a girls night out. The ambience was very nice and felt very special. The restaurant was loud, and more so as the evening progressed. That was my only complaint. The food was amazing! I got the cauliflower steak and was stuffed! It was one of the best dishes I have ever had!

    This was my fifth visit to the restaurant. I always use it for special occasions and on this visit, I invited six people who work with me to dinner. Cocktails are expertly crafted and beyond the normal. The pacing was very nice and the service was attentive, helpful, and not obtrusive. It is always this way here. The appetizers and mains were great as always. I indulged in one of the specials and was happy with my choice. La Chasse is well-known as one of Louisville's very finest restaurants and it is deserving of every acclamation it receives.

    I usually give LaChasse all A’s but this visit was disappointing. Service was lacking and food was not as good as usual. Not sure what happened - but this visit was not up to the high standard we have grown to expect. Very slow paced meal, and our supposed to be hot food was served lukewarm - and it was quite difficult to get our server’s attention. On the plus side our Caesar salads and the Brie appetizer were great. We will be back and hope for a better experience as we’ve always had in the past.

    The service was exceptional. However, the prices were far more than the value of the food. The steak comes with French fries and a few pieces of broccoli and nothing else. Open table has $$. It is a $$$$. Cocktail was good but extremely overpriced. The food was good. I expected more and less expensive.

    The main courses were excellent and the pork chop was the best we have tasted. The special cocktails were also a hit and the wine selections excellent. The desserts left a little be desired but overall the meal was a success. Would return and stop at the entrees.

    Meal was wonderful. Service was a little slow, but only because the place was packed. The host that night certainly earned his money, I've never seen anyone move so fast in my life, without running. We will certainly be back. Snails were amazing!!!!!

    Entrees were very good, we loved the flavor of both salmon and the grouper. Fish was fresh, but the grouper was overpriced in my opinion. We recently visited a more high end French place and they were cheaper than here. Speaking of appetizers, grilled Brie was stunning, we loved it a lot. Mussels, not so much. It’s undercooked a little and there were a good amount of dead ones. Desserts were a disaster. Crème brûlée was runny, donuts taste ok but way too heavy in my opinion. Our server was very sweet. However it was very busy last night and we had to wait for almost 20 minutes to get us checked out. In general, will I come back? Maybe. Will I be confident in everything to order? Probably not. There are better French places in drivable area and with the price they charge I do have higher expectations.

    Everything was perfect, as we have grown accustomed to expect. This is one of our favorite places to dine in Louisville. We came in the day after Valentines day to avoid that crowd, and it was comfortably busy. The food was great. The drinks were great. The service was great. We tried two new items for the first time, the baked brie appetizer, and grilled strip steak. Both were excellent. And they have the best Caesar salad I’ve ever had - simple but perfectly executed. And the Ora salmon was great as usual. I highly recommend!

    Came here for an anniversary dinner to try out a new restaurant in town and had an incredible experience! Intimate dining space and the smell from the kitchen is phenomenal. Diverse wine/bourbon/beer list to pair with a small-ish menu. Unique daily specials as well, I went with the crab burger which was truly mouth watering!

    We are repeat customers, for good reason. This visit was no exception, the food, drinks, service and ambience were all excellent. Their menu is excellent, very manageable, I think I’ve tried all the entrées (my favorite remains the ora salmon) but everything is great. A small thing, but I think they have the best Caesar salad that I’ve ever had - it’s perfect!
