I have not been to the restaurant in years but this was my Birthday and I wanted to go to a special place. The tables are so close together and our table was in a corner so the noise level was diminished. I was surprised that no type of bread was brought to the table. My guess is that if you order bread with the cheeses you will get that. The onion soup was steaming but for the price was not as awesome as I remembered. The Rack of Lamb was good (not outstanding) and the mashed potatoes were not hot. I didn’t want to complain to my date either. I had to ask for more Iced Tea. I thought they would bring a little birthday dessert and not have to order a tremendous dessert for $19. Well, I guess times have changed.

We love having potato chips with champagne. The hot bread and especially the salted butter is awesome. I got the octopus carpaccio special and wife got the crab cocktail. The octopus was sliced so thin. Both were delicious. Entrees we’re Dover sole and lamb shank with risotto both were savory and risotto was creamy. To full for dessert. We’ll be back

I had been anticipating dining here as I heard it was a special occasion restaurant. The restaurant is lovely and has that special occasion feel to it, but the food was expensive and average. The duck was on the dry side. The Grand Marnier soufflé was pedestrian. The escargot were nice and garlicky but the toasts that were served with it did not enhance the dish. However, the martini was a generous poor! Service was average. Had to tell the waiter not to rush the meal.

Food was very good, I had bisque and scallops not perfect but very decent. My partner had snails followed by scallops. Snails are not my bag but they were tender. I certainly would return the area we ended up sitting was a little noisy. The staff were very attentive and professional with a decent demeanour and a good balance of when to top glasses and engage with the guests. A blend of French and Italian it was very nice to have some classic technique from people who obviously care about the experience you have. Thank you so much for a very pleasant evening.

However, well done. Seating in porch area better than general. Areas around bar are especially noisy and somewhat disruptive. To find a restaurant that provides consistent excellence year after year is rare. Nouvelle Maison is one of those rare spots. High quality food, terrific service, and a fun and yet elegant vibe, make Nouvelle our favorite. Andrew and his team provide a flawless experience. Held back on the soufflé this time. I won't make that mistake again! We've enjoyed basically every item on the menu- never have been disappointed. Oh, octopus carpaccio- don't sleep on that.

This was a special birthday dinner and my choice to come here was wonderful. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The bread that arrives warm in a paper bag is so crusty and fresh. We all shred salads to start, the Caesar was an artful presentation and the Floridian was quite delicious with the citrus and breaded cheese. 3 do the dinners chose the lobster on fettuccine and were very happy. I chose the yellowtail which was delicious. The soufflés were the driving force behind my choice of restaurant and they were outstanding!!!! It couldn’t have been better!!!
