    Our server was excellent and made the day. Only issue was the food was not very hot. To compensate we had a free desert. Overall will enjoy a visit agin in the future

    The boullabaise was amazing and the Caesar salad was amongst the best I’ve had. The steak Diane was disappointing in that it was too well done for my husband Beautiful views and Michelle our server was very attentive and pleasant . We’ll be back LZ

    The restaurant was amazing. The view was wonderful clean and tidy service was OK. I felt the waiter was very stern with no sense of humour or personality. It was my first time to this restaurant and I’m happy to say I probably won’t be back. I’m glad I experienced the moving of the restaurant, but that was probably the most exciting part. It was definitely overpriced for what you got. I did have to send back one of our steaks. As we ask for medium, and it came completely raw They did take it back and redo it but then it was overdone, but that’s OK. We still enjoyed it overall out of 10 I would get this place at five. It was a nice atmosphere, and the restaurant was nice and the mood was nice. The view was beautiful but that’s all the God I can say wine was really expensive and the dinner was really expensive. It was half the price and the keg, and we got better food there I’m glad of the experience, but I wouldn’t be rushing to return.

    Service was outstanding, one issue with the meal was corrected immediately and to our satisfaction. Baby crying in the background was a distraction from our meal. Hard to advertise as Fine Dining when the majority of clients were dressed very casual.

    After 30 years, it's still my favourite. Since the '90s, La Ronde has been my favourite spot for special occasions, and I am happy to say that the service and food continue to be as stellar as the first time we visited. Special note on how accommodating the menu is for gluten sensitivity - with a wonderful selection of options.

    Have been there many times prior to this last visit which have all been fantastic. This one however, was okay. My fiancé s cocktail that she ordered was way to sour, had to fix it. The food was good, but just good . My tenderloin was more on the rare side than medium, Fiancé s Steak Diane was a combo, one piece well done, the other was rare. Vegetables were great. Atmosphere was great as we got there early prior to it getting busy. Overall this visit was mildly disappointing soley based on the food. Everything else was great as usual!! Won't let this visit deter me from going back.

    I have been to La Ronde many times and have never been so disappointed as I was my most recent visit. The table cloth at our table had holes in it, my boyfriends napkin had stains, my cutlery was dirty… My boyfriends steak was over cooked and cold. My chicken was a little tough and seemed like it had been cooked hours before. It was very noisy and made it hard to have a conversation. Our server was wonderful and made the experience a little more enjoyable.

    Was a wonderful overdue date night for my husband and I. Service and food was A++. I had the escargot and lamb shank and my husband had the duck croquette and tenderloin. Neither of us were disappointed with our choices. Not a place we would go super often because of the price - but definitely an amazing choice for a special occasion or overdue night out.

    Always good over there. Food really good and bomb ,baked Alaska amazing! Service always impeccable. The amazing like always summer or winter. After one hour, with the dessert you are done. I really recommend that unik place.

    We went to La Ronde for our 25th anniversary as we wanted a special experience. La Ronde absolutely delivered. Our waiter Colin was attentive without being overbearing. We had the chateaubriande for two and the food was beyond expectations and the table side service so dramatic! Will definitely return.

    We went there for our anniversary dinner. We had the Chateaubriand and it was everything we dreamed it would be. It was cooked perfectly, the sauce was amazing and the vegetables spot on. Our waiter Collin provided a wonderful table side preparation of the dish as well as the Baked Alaska. He made the evening very special for us with his attentiveness and humour. His recommendation of a wine was perfect. Our only criticism of the meal would be the Poached Pear salad. It would have been nicer with a bit more poached pear. The view was awesome, the food spectacular and the service outstanding. Thank you for making it a wonderful anniversary evening.

    I’m not too sure what has changed in the last few years since I’ve been here (wasn’t able to during COVID), but I feel like the taste of the food has improved substantially. Their mushroom soup is very yummy (scientific test using my 10 year old). Nonetheless, a great restaurant that I’m so glad survived COVID! Coming during September 2023, we found the restaurant to be seemingly fully booked on a WEDNESDAY night. Always great to see local businesses being full. Parking was also pleasantly free at the hotel for the night by registering at the machine. Will be back again! Still one of my favourites over the many years!

    The sweeping city view from this revolving restaurant makes it a must-see when visiting Edmonton. First-class service, quality, wine selection, and entree menu are let down somewhat by an unimaginative dessert menu.

    Had an absolutely wonderful time at La Ronde! Went there to celebrate my engagement (proposal took place a couple hours earlier) and had a blast. Food was awesome, the revolving restaurant was memorable, and the service was top notch. Would recommend!

    3 of 4 meals were actually very very good. Recommend the Steak Diane and the seafood bouillabaisse. And always the mushroom soup. The 4th meal - seared tuna was delicious, however ice cold in the centre. And very disappointing as a result. A few minutes bringing it to room temperature would have made a huge difference. The service was rushed - drinks took forever (30 minutes perhaps a bit longer) - and then they were rushed to turn the table over. It’s still a favourite - however I don’t think we will choose a Saturday night again. It’s much more enjoyable when they don’t have to rush us.

    The restaurant was fine the waiter was spectacular. Food was not up to the usual standard, the lamb shank sauce was two spicy and the escargot was in a pastry,not good at all. Chicken was really good and desert was great. Thanks

    You can't beat the atmosphere at the La Ronde. However, we were very disappointed in the food -- especially for the high price. The lobster ravioli was just okay and the ahi tuna was very tough and chewy. We would recommend La Ronde because of the view. Quite over priced. We miss the live music that used to be provided which really added to the overall experience and would make the high prices more acceptable.

    Frankly speaking, this is not a fine-dining restaurant. This can be considered as an up-scaled restaurant. There was no fine-dining restaurant service etiquette, however, our server was friendly. The appetizers didn't taste that great. The entrees were delicious.
