The service and food were wonderful! I especially appreciated the shuttle back to the hotel (we are in town for a conference). All in all a great experience!
The manager Chesley was so helpful when I called inquiring about the restaurant. I was entertaining my senior partner and I had to get the restaurant right and La Scala totally lived up to his high expectation.
We had a great night at La Scala. We sat at the bar, had amazing service, an excellent meal and met great people. It will be a go to when we are back in Baltimore. Outstanding!
I love La Scala. I’ve been several times and have enjoyed the character of the staff and the great meals. On this latest visit, though, I found the food to be lacking. Chicken Marsala was heavy on cheese, pasta was bland, and the wine order wrong. The interior is also looking dated and needs a refresh. Whenever I visit Baltimore, at least 1-2 times per year, I stop here for a meal. And, I will again. Hoping that some constructive feedback can help with attention to details.
Excellent food and service. Waiter gave excellent wine choices with the meal.
We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the staff involved in our experience. It was Great to meet Chef Nino as well! Keep up the fabulous work.
Great service and food! Made the birthday celebration special!
High School reunion #50!
I've been here twice now and our group enjoyed EVERYTHING. The food is superb, wait staff friendly and knowledgeable and the atmosphere is very nice.
Authentic Italian food-top quality ingredients. Great wine list, home made hot bread, attentive service ...you can't go wrong if you are looking for a great meal. There veal dishes are all outstanding, and their Carbonara is as good as it gets...they even served a fried egg on top like my grandmother used to.
Amazing service and food, as always. Had a wonderful time!
La Scala never fails to impress. Chef Nino is doing great work in the kitchen. By far best Italian in Little Italy.
Food and Service were excellent as usual--
Nino and his staff are friendly and personable.
Leftovers the next day were great too!!
The grilled Caesar salad and Osso Bucco specials were excellent but more expensive than other dishes on the regular menu. Wish the waitress told us the prices beforehand. The Bocce Ball Court in the restaurant is an unique feature.
If you're looking for an authentic Italian restaurant in Baltimore with the food, wine and ambiance to match, La Scala is your place. Highly recommend!
This was the second time we visited for a birthday dinner. We were seated at the same table (11) both times. A lovely little corner. Our server was Bella. She’s terrific! The food was wonderful too! We’ll definitely be back
This was our third time there - and once again a wonderful meal with professional servers. Love this place!
Came to La Scala for an anniversary dinner with my girlfriend. Our waiter did a great job explaining the menu. Appetizers and entrees came out at a reasonable pace. Price was not horrible. Food overall was outstanding (fettuccine alfredo and gnocchi), some of the best authentic Italian I've had in a while. Will definitely be coming back again in the future.
Not great for kids. No children's menu. Decent old school Italian fare. Although I have had better.
It was amazing the waiter went over and beyond to make us feel welcome. It was our 1 st time there! It was fantastic!
The three couples in our group were very happy with the delicious food, wine and service. Not in love with the table in the far back of the second floor against the wall table.
Everything was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Absolutely loved the homemade spinach fettucini. The temperatures were brutal, so we used the complimentary shuttle service which was prompt and courteous. It was so good we dined here twice in one week.
This was our first time here. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was great.
Best of Little Italy and one of the Best in Baltimore
We went on a Thursday eve. The meal was exceptional, as was the service. Top notch
La Scala never disappoints! We had a party of 12, some who have visited before & some who have not. Their service was spectacular and the food by far the best Italian in Baltimore. EVERYONE keeps asking to go back for more. Thank you Chef Nino for an amazing birthday meal! :)
Ever popular , best Italian restaurant around. Dependably good food and service. Still one of the best Happy Hours around. Love Nino and his fabulous staff!
Always a perfect meal, personable and attentive staff, chef who is engaged with patrons - fantastic!
Amazing. This was our first time here and the complete experience was amazing
A must place to eat every time we're in baltimore. Staff friendly and courteous and the food is outstanding!
Great food, friendly and attentive service! We really enjoyed this place and will be back next time we're in Baltimore!
Best Italian restaurant in Baltimore! Awesome drinks, wine, food and service!!!!! Thank you for a great evening!
The food, ambiance and service were all excellent for celebrating our daughter’s 30th Birthday!
La Scala is our favorite restaurants in Little Italy and one of our favorites in all of Baltimore. Great menu with many choices. Our server was a total professional. The food was delicious and just the right amount. We highly recommend La Scala!!
Love this restaurant but it is very noisy in the dining areas. It’s hit or miss on whether or not you can have a good conversation with your co-diners
Itjiught the food was good but not worth the price.i thought the waitstaff was grumpy and not personable. i do feel that helps the ambience and spirit of the evening
If you like Italian food - La Scala is the place to dine!
Visited for both my fathers birthday and my parents anniversary, while it was not mine or my fiance's first time - it was for my parents and they were blown away. Delicious food, excellent service and amazing wine! All that you could ask for in an Italian restaurant!
La Scala deserves its excellent reputation but this time I was slightly disappointed. The calamari was less crispy than I like, and the grilled Caesar underwhelmed. The spaghetti with Old Bay-spiced grilled shrimp was delicious, the Chianti superb and the service outstanding!
