   Party of four just had dinner at La Villa last evening, Thursday, March 29, 2018. We had a reservation and were immediately seated. The restaurant was 'busy' but not full. Our server, Michael, kindly took his time with us and allowed us to be leisurely in our ordering, which we appreciated. We ordered calamari, greek salad, and four entrees. All were beautifully prepared and served. Everyone loved their meal and the kind attention throughout. Thank you to all of the team at La Villa! Carl

   Good for what it is - a neighborhood Italian restaurant. Nothing fancy, but good variety, good food, pleasant service and reasonably priced. And the attached gelato store is always tempting.

   The service on this visit was very slow, e.g. over a half hour before the waitress even took our orders. This could be explained by the fact that we were a large party of 12 and the restaurant was quite crowded, but nonetheless it was a disappointment in relation to our many previous dining experiences at La Villa. The food was excellent as usual, so our only complaint was the rather unusual lack of timely service.

   The pizza here is the best I've had in the area and I am from NJ, where we have pizza on every corner. I love the appetizers I have had, especially the mussels. The gelato is a great dessert option there, too.

   Our meal was Excellent! It's not a super fancy atmosphere, but clean and nice, and comfortable. I guess I'm saying that because the food was so good you'd expect it to be over the top fancy and pricey... The food was cooked to order and delicious. Had a great Margarita too!!

   Quality of food is very good. Really enjoyed the Gorgonzola flatbread appetizer - the added roasted garlic was a nice surprise. And love the fact they serve Switchback beer!

   Service was horrible. Waited to long to place our order. Then waited way to long to just get our drinks. Which they forgot mine. Finally received an attitude when my cousin, who is vegan, had to send back his meal due to cheese being in it(which there is no mention of on the menu). Their response was "So do you want us to make you a new one?" How about "So sorry, we'll get you a new one right away". Food, on the other hand, was very good. Salad was perfect and the Pizza was one of the best in the neighborhood.

   The food was really good. The server was friendly, however, not very present. She was being overworked. She had too many tables. Our salad came out long after our pizza. It was definitely forgotten and we had to remind about 3 times. She did end up comping the salad because of how it kept getting forgotten and she was very nice. You could tell she was doing her best.

    The chicken parm was very flavorful and spicy. The Shrimp with tomato and herb was not what I expected, but it was good. You could definitely taste the wine in the sauce. I would have preferred more garlic. I could not taste any. The calamari had sliced black olives, chopped tomatoes, hot peppers, with a drizzle of balsamic reduction. Tasted great. Service was very good, friendly, and helpful. Will definitely go again.

    Good homestyle food. Better than expected. We ordered mussels, pizza, chicken w/vegetables and mushroom ravioli, also a salad. Overall, good quality. Try the gelato, it was delicious, we had the apple cider donut and apple pie (seasonal flavors). Both were great. This is a good restaurant to take the family too. The decor is stuck in the early 90's, definitely not trendy. Doesn't have ambiance, but makes up for it in charm.

    Food was very good. Service was attentive and the kitchen was very accommodating to any special requests (e.g. Leave onions off, etc.). Food is very reasonably priced and parking is ample making it a good stress free choice for dining out

    We have dined at La Villa several times in the last year in general the food is good, the service this last time was very good but then it was not very busy. They take their time preparing the food which we actually appreciate. I ordered the La Villa pizza, we have lots of good pizza places and I am not counting Uno in the mix. Their crust I really liked, it was thin and crispy but tender. I was disappointed in the topping, I could not tell the sausage from the meatball, the pepperoni was good. I brought it home and doctored up with some zucchini and mushrooms and mozzarella. My husband has had the fried xhicken several times and says it is absolutely excellent. Isn't that unique having fried chicken (Misty Knolls) with garlic mashed potatoes in an Italian restaurant? It is supposed to be some white and some dark meat, this time it was mostly white which my husband is not fond of but he said it was cooked so nicely he had no complaints. The Tiramiso was not what I had expected and have had in several other restaurants, it was a good desert but to me it was not a lucious serving of one of my favorite deserts. The Tiramiso gelato was better..

    Hav been here many times, and keep returning. Waitstaff are friendly and prompt, food quality is good. I especially like that they use some local produce in their menu. Always an easy place to get an early supper after a day shopping in town.

    We arrived an hour early for a 6:30 pm reservation with our party of 5 on a busy Mothers' Day. The hostess graciously welcomed us and was able to seat us immediately and without issue despite the crowded scene. Food was very good with our table ranging from goat cheese and prosciutto pizza to eggplant parm with special requests and pasta carbonara. All but the eggplant were served together. Eggplant arrived almost 10 min later. Kitchen needs better planning to coordinate timing of baked dishes with pastas. Waitress was apologetic and cordial. Gelato was excellent with a light creamy texture and was the perfect conclusion to this lovely meal. Our waitress was seen a bit less than we might have liked during the latter half of our visit but we can't fault her for that as we had arrived early and the restaurant was expectedly very full and busy. Overall, this was a satisfying dining experience and we will not hesitate to return and to recommend to others.

    Our first visit and will not be our last. Good fresh local food prepared perfectly. Housemade Pasta, wonderful maple bourbon sauce on the Chicken my Husband ordered. Food and Service very well done. Highly recommend this Chef Owned Restaurant.

    My family has been going to La Villa for the past few years and we have really noticed that the quality of cuisine keeps getting better and the prices are remaining reasonable. This is a great place for a romantic dinner or a nice get together with friends. Please try it out for yourself as you will not be disappointed.

    It is great to be able to have conversation and sharing with a friend without having to shout or feel that the table next to us is in our conversation. Atmosphere is lovely and relaxed at the same time. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. Food is good and there are diverse options to meet all needs.

    This is one of our favorite places for a date day lunch... but this time the food was not as good as it usually is. The Caesar Salad dressing was terribly watery and not very appealing. But the pasta was excellent and the truffle fries are amazing. Overall... this is a great little hidden gem for good pasta and pizza... but probably not a great idea for a salad!     We had a party of 12 easily accommodated in the back room. The menu is diverse making it very easy for all 12 of us to find entrees we loved, salads for those not as hungry, and a friendly, helpful wait staff.

    We were the last table seated on a very busy night, fair enough. Michael, the server was very efficient in light of the load of tables he was handling. Gorgonzola Flatbread was limp and rubbery. Shrimp with herbs pasta dish very bland. Large Toasted Blue Pizza was limp, bland and unappealing. Two bottles of Seghesio Zin at $45 each saved the meal experience. We dine here fairly regularly and went this time to turn family onto La Villa. Bummer.

    Made a night of it to see a favorite local band (Deja-Nous) not knowing what to expect for dinner. We had a tough time deciding on a dish, as everything sounded so delicious. No one was disappointed! Salads were wonderful and creative, entrees were delicious and plenty to take home and enjoy the next day. The Brussel sprouts were the best ever. Great service, and of course the music was great too. Look forward to the next visit. Thank you.

    We have eaten at La Villa a few times in the past year since moving nearby. The service is often somewhat on the slow side, but we have always accepted that due to the quality of the food. Our last visit was disappointing. We were seated on time for our reservation, but it was 25 minutes after being seated before we saw our server. Once we finally ordered, it took 35 minutes for our food to arrive (3 people) and we were not checked back on until our food was gone - no chance to order another drink. I'm guessing that everyone arrived at one time that night and overwhelmed the staff. The server was apologetic. I'm also guessing that at least one server didn't show up for work that night. Fortunately the food was yummy as ever.

    A bit off the beaten path, hidden a strip mall on the west side of the road. Drove by twice before we saw it, but glad we did. Was a bit disappointed that the didn't have Italian beers, but the local beer was fine.

    The place is cute, tables are a little too close for comfort which makes it loud. We could hear all the conversations around us clear as a bell which made it difficult to carry one on ourselves. Garden salad and beet salad were great, nice and fresh. Veggie pizza was ok. Waiter was very pleasant but it took awhile for our food and he forgot about the beet salad until I mentioned it. I'd give it another try and order something different because the dishes around us looked great!
