Amazing experience. Everything from the customer service, wine selection and food. We ordered the spicy lamb tartare, oysters, duck and Venison. Great flavours and everything was cooked perfectly. Venison was the highlight of the night cooked with coffee, chocolate, and berries. Very multi-dimensional and complex dish. Delicious.
I had a wonderful brunch experience, the duck confit and pancakes were well presented and very delicious. The service was very attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend.

L'Abattoir continues to be an outstanding destination for wine, cocktails and food. A top of the line Vancouver restaurant.
This brunch is one of "Vancouver's best kept secrets" as they are normally known for their fancy french dinners. Their friendly staff and bright ambiance (both upstairs and downstairs) go perfectly with their carefully curated and absolutely beautiful brunch items. They also have really great coffee (which is typically a non-negotiable for me...if I can't drink your coffee black then we have a problem!) and coat check at the door which is a nice perk. Will be back for sure!

Cute restaurant; I have been looking forward to eating here for awhile but didn’t live up to the hype.
It was pretty good. Servers were a bit cold to us and needed a bit more personality. Felt like they might have placed us in the back on purpose, but not sure. Food was excellent tho.

Food is pricey and low-caliber. Paid $55 for a steak Diane which was the worst rendition of Snake Farms beef I have had. Wall facing chairs were uncomfortable too but perhaps that’s just me (on the tall side). Overall it’s a really big let down when the place looks nice, you spend $200 and the food isn’t amazing.
L'Abattoir never disappoints! It is the BEST modern French restaurant in Vancouver. Everything on the plate is done with love and finesse. Chefs and cooks all strive for perfection in every element of the dishes. LOVE IT:)

We had a terrific meal and the service was suburb. We had an issue with the choice of wine and the issue was handled as well as it could have been - full marks.

Food and services are great, but the table setting is way too crowded just like sitting in a cheap Raman restaurant, the noice level is like a bar, but the food and price are at a high end level, it’s a strange feeling.
First visit and will definitely go back! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
We had a lovely early valentines dinner. We had the duck breast for dinner and the dark chocolate ganache for dessert. Both were very good. The only thing I would say is that the portion size of the main dish was smaller than we were expecting but it was delicious so made up for it. Overall great experience!

Food tasted very average. We had the steak Diane and duck breast as well as the truffle salad. Maybe we had dinner too early and weren't hungry yet.
So lovely. I do prefer the old Steak Diane though. Ha
The food was amazing, we loved the homemade bread, baked oyster and duck breast. The duck breast is definitely the best in town!

Normal L'Abattoir is always good but this visit was really strange. We were in the middle of the meal when they came to ask us to move to the next table and we were not even 1:30 hours into our meal. They said for that they will give us free drinks and when we decided to pack the food and pay they insisted on paying for the entire meal. We didn't opt for this offer but they took out our main dishes anyways from the bill. If they had planned better in the seating this would not have happened. We would have been happy to move over if the person who approached us just asked us and not say that they will give us free drinks. It was most awkward and totally unnecessary. I am surprise for a restaurant like this issues are handled so poorly.
