   The burrata cheese appetizer was delicious! Views of the lake and sunset can’t be beat and our server Krysten was top notch! It’s definitely a special occasion type of restaurant based on the price point but we’ll worth it

   Overall it was a great evening. We did have to wait about 20/25 minutes for our table but we lucked out with an amazing view next to a lake-facing window. First off, the hostess called my kids over to show them a bunny outside before we ordered our dinner, which I thought was very sweet. And I want to highlight our server Leah, she made the entire evening relaxing & enjoyable. She took care of all our needs & I especially appreciated the kindness & respect she showed our young kids (8 and 5 yrs old). She spoke directly to them when taking their orders & offered them colouring before & after they finished eating to pass the time while my husband & I finished our meals. I equally appreciated how she coordinated dessert with me so as not to promise the kids something they may not be allowed to have. A+ for Leah! The food was all very delicious & the room we sat in, though very busy, was not overly loud. We always enjoy the Lakehouse but this was our first time going with kids & we had a great time thanks to the kind staff.

   We have been going to the Lake-house for quite a number of years now and we very surprised with our dinner when we did not receive any bread ahead of our dinner . When we asked we were shocked to be told it’s on the menu and had to be ordered for $6:00 ! Very disappointed

   Choice of music was annoying at times. At one point we wondered if the player was stuck in a loop but it was just the constant base without a tune.

   Food was great (both brunch and main choices), got to see the Toronto skyline across the river. Dessert was also very good, would highly recommend the brownie cheesecake!

   Thoroughly enjoyed our experience at The Lakehouse. Amazing food, staff and ambiance !!! The only complaint would be the constant draft from the front door(s). On a cold night it’s not the greatest feeling to be sitting at your table feeling the chill up your back !

    Just had a FABULOUS anniversary dinner! We had Isaiah as our server and he made the experience that much better. He was super personable, let us dictate how we wanted our food to come out and when. He didn’t rush us and was super attentive to empty drinks, plates and made great suggestions. All of our food was delicious, from the baked Brie to the Caesar salad to the filet and the shrimp Mac and cheese and the perfect sized desserts to cap off the meal. We were lucky enough to sit upstairs with a great view, not over crowded and very comfortable seating. Highly recommend you check out the Lakehouse for a great meal and overall experience. Hopefully you’re lucky enough to get Isaiah as your server to make your experience that much better!

    Isaiah provided us awesome service and the food was delicious. We were a party of 5 with 3 of us having dietary restrictions and they were amazing to accommodate our needs.

    Please bring back the lobster Mac and cheese, my friends and I come here for all our special occasions and were so disappointed to see it as shrimp Mac and cheese. Also as much as we love coming we often hope for something different like specials etc… other then a soup there were no other delicious features from the chef. Other then that a great night as always!!!

    This is a lovely restaurant with fantastic views of Lake Ontario. It is a bit pricy and I found the lunch menu somewhat limited. Service is great. Wine selection is wonderful. Very visible from the QEW at the moment. There is a huge development of condos going in nearby. Reservations are highly recommended.

    Gigi was absolutely amazing. She was the perfect mix of professional and comfortable. We felt the fine dining experience yet her persona made everything so enjoyable and non intimidating. Also, the heart confetti for our anniversary before we sat was such a small gesture but genuinely made our night. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience celebrating and we will absolutely be back!

    Amazing. We have been there before but this time took our mum. It was her first time & everything was delicious. Hopefully next time we get a window seat, but it was perfect. We will Definitely be back

    Chicken was dry and tables were quite close together. The rest of the meal was very good, good portion size. Thought grilled vegetables would include more than just broccoli. Very clean. Wait staff was incredible.

    You can never go wrong with the Lake House. The food is always amazing (we had the paella, calamari, steak, escargot, and mini desserts). Service is excellent, the server is kind, helpful, and always available. I'll always go back.

    Because we mentioned it was our anniversary, there were little hearts sprinkled on the table and the server wished us a happy anniversary. Made it more special. Food and service was excellent - a really enjoyable night.

    Not entirely sure why this place gets so much hype? Definitely OK, but not great. Service was good, our server was pleasant, attentive and made sure we had everything we required. Food was just ok, nothing stood out or was great. I'm not saying it was bad, just wouldn't go again, there are many other restaurants that are much better for the same money.
