   The food wasn’t hot The Mashed potatoes didn’t taste fresh more like the days before… Our appetizer was a a baked cheese that was still cold in the centre and didn’t pull apart like it was supposed to. The service was bad … it took 15 min for the lady to come back to our table I actually had to get up with the cold appetizer and bring it to her . if I’m going to spen 180$ on a dinner with my fiancée I accept much more . It was very sad

   Nice location and Patio seating give you the view of Waterton lake. Can get really windy if you are seated outside. Food is not that special for the price you pay, expected better.

   We ordered the Calamari, Cauliflower Steak and the Lobster Linguini. Our Appy came out after our mains were served. The Calamari was so spicy I couldn't enjoy it, my partner ate it but his mouth was burning for awhile after dinner. We did have it once before and do not remember it to be that hot. Lobster linguini was ok. Portion of pasta was small. Not enough greens. Very greasy from the butter?? Cauliflower steak was good, have ordered before and is consistently good but for a meal that caters to vegans I would not expect cheese in the salad. Drinks were ok. We wanted the Pomegranate drink but they were out. Ordered the Berry burst instead. We will be back as we have always ate here when in Waterton and the food and service is always good. Our server was very busy and could have used some help.

   Spectacular view of Waterton Lake. The food was amazing. Portions were large enough to share between 2 adults. Service was excellent.

   We were really excited to attend this place as we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Checking-in at the front desk was overwhelming for the hostess as they were busy. We finally got a table that was not what we requested when we booked. It took forever for our waiter to finally acknowledge we were there and when talking to us; he wasnt really listening as he was rushed that he had to attend to a tour group that occupied half the restaurant. He was in such a rush that he even walked away mid-sentence a few times lolol. He kept on forgetting about us and kept on forgetting items we had asked for(napkins, water, salt and pepper). So overall bad service. Food was DELICIOUS!!! Ambience was nice, but it seemed as though alllll the service from a few staff was catered to the tour group that was there :(

   The decor is quite ordinary (seat upholstered in artificial leather, large TV screen as in a pub...), the menu is attractive but my friend didn't get the blue cheese he ordered with his meat, so the level could be upgraded regarding to the price!

    Lakefront patio is great! Our server was friendly and the ambience was very nice. Patio has lots of heaters if u try pure worried about being warm enough. Friendly service.

    This dinner experience exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived the service was swift and very professional. I thought our server would have done well at the Ritz Carlton! The restaurant is large and was very full but adequately staffed. Many servers avoid scanning the restaurant avoiding someone calling them over, but our server came over twice at my request - which was impressive. The food was excellent and plentiful and arrived quickly. The whole experience was very professional and I would highly recommend this as the main dining experience in Waterton after a lukewarm experience the previous evening. An additional bonus is that the restaurant has an exclusive location along side Waterton lake allowing us to watch the sunset on the opposite mountains!

    We love dining at The Lakeside Chophouse when we visit Waterton. The view over the water is exceptional, the restaurant is comfortable and I love the short ribs. The fish and chips are always a favorite too. Thank you for your friendly service!

    Beautiful view, great service. Time from ordering to receiving meal was perfect and the 4 of us each ordered something different from pime rib burger to salmon to new York to short rib and we all loved the food. Drinks pricey but memorable birthday meal.

    Nice menu selection, the entrees were very good. The service was very slow even though it wasnt too crowded (we were perhaps in a no-mans land). It was our anniversary and I thought they would perhaps acknowledge it with a little complimentary appetizer or dessert, but no.

    Disappointed. Booked my table weeks ago, was staying at the adjacent home owned by the same people, and asked for window table. When we can in the snooty manager said no window tables despite booking and checking in advance. Said there were 4 walk ins that had priority. After we sat down there were just empty window tables and her supposed 4 walk ins were nowhere to be seen. after we sat we asked to be moved and as if my magic as she could see how unhappy we were we got moved. After we sat down, I watched and even after 30minutes those window tables took sometime before they were filled. Think the duty manager didn’t like the Indian family of four to be sat by the window showcasing her restaurant no doubt. Little does she know who we are, and the fact we were even eating here is a privilege for them not the other way round. I will be writing a further Google review to reflect poor quality service and attitude. Our server was pleasant but also very inattentive. The usual checking in process of how the food is, general chit chat, asking if we wanted more drinks again did not happen. Won’t be coming here again that’s for sure and will make sure those in our cast professional social circles are made aware of the rude and prejudicial attitude of the management.

We have been open for 7 days and we are still training our staff , sometimes mistakes are made. We never guarantee a window table to any of our guests as we have so many reservations. I am truly sorry if you felt that we were prejudice. Perhaps you did not realize that the owners are Indian and our management has been with us for years and they treat everyone with respect. We hope you give another try to show you have we have improved.

    We were taken to our table and provided with menus. I am not sure what happened but we waited for 25 minutes until we had to get up to inquire with the hostess as to who and where our server was. Reading the other reviews, this seems to occur more often then it should. During the 25 minute wait we tried to get the attention of several servers but they ignored us and kept walking by or turned the other way. It seemed too intentional to be accidental. You would think a “high end” restaurant would be more organized then this. You would also think these “experienced” servers would inquire if we needed assistance as we sat with menus and no water for 25 minutes. We had even seen the female manager quickly walked right by us as we tried to get her attention. Our server eventually showed up with his trainee, but was more absent then not during our meal. We had to ask another server for assistance at one point. We looked forward to the meal but the food is mediocre for the high price point, the short ribs was disappointedly tough and the kung pao bowl is nothing to write home about. The calamari however was good. We paid close to $200 for the three of us to be ignored and for mediocre food. Never again.

    The location is great. Nice view of the lake and mountain. We liked the Korean lettuce tacos. The salmon entree was poor - overcooked and swamped with a sauce. The served was friendly and efficient.

    The food, service and ambience were as expected given the cost. The only let down of the evening was when the bus gal was spray8ng down the table next to us and was a bit careless and spray me and what was left of my dinner with the cleaner... which meant I was done dinner.

    The service was great! The food on the other hand not so great. Ordered the Brie appetizer and came with thick chunks of cold garlic bread, should be served with small toasted crostini’s in my opinion and the Brie was burnt and cold. The salmon was ok the sauce wasn’t the greatest and the mash potatoes reminded me of the ones you get out of the box. My son ordered the filet mignon and it was ok. Kudos to the server and manager for rectifying the meal.
