Birthday meal with my wife. Excellent food. Service attentive
Consistently great food and service. Our go to place for Bolognese.
Delicious food with interesting daily specials. Always a marvelous meal.
We loved it highly recommend. Everything was delicious and the people were so nice
Best business lunch spot in the area. Food , service and decor are tops.
Food was very good. Very expensive.
Very poor service.
Fantastic night out food was great and the ambiance was quiet but also interaction with the staff was sufficient to keep some energy in the room. Will definitely return and recommend
L'Allegria is a wonderful restaurant. It is relaxing, the owners are welcoming, and the food is exceptional. My college graduation dinner was at L'Allegria. I am 54, and I still look forward to dining there.
Very nice meal. Great waiter. One of my regular haunts
Outstanding food with perfect service. The restaurant offers a relax quiet setting for dinner.
Have been going here for years and was disappointed by the service this time. Felt neglected. But food was good as always.
Staff accommodated our request for a quiet table. Extensive menu. Attentive and helpful service. Food was delicious. Definitely a place to visit again when traveling in the area.
Wonderful restaurant! The food was excellently prepared and beautifully presented. My husband had the veal which he found to be tender and flavorful and far superior to what he normally finds in upscale restaurants. I had the branzini and home-made pasta which were fabulous! The house wine selections were reasonably priced and complemented our entrees. Will definitely revisit the restaurant when we are next in NJ!
I took my mom here for her birthday and she loved it. Very cute and quiet place. Everything was a great. Definitely going back.
The service was excellent! we were 7 adults, 2 toddlers and 2 infants and everyone was served promptly. And the food!!! I asked for our group to be seated away from the other diners as not to disturb anyone else out for dinner and they gave us a great table that fit us all comfortably. The food was delish and authentic and I can't say enough about this place. go here to eat, you will love it.
Good portion, great service.
The most important thing for me and I was very impressed by it, it was that I asked via the Open Table for a special medical diet for the first time. In my surprise the manager came to me and ensured me that he would follow my wishes with the special diet and I should not worry. I appreciated that very much to the point that I booked another reservation for the weekend with my friends.
Excellent service and food. Highly recommend. Owner highly involved with customer satisfaction.
Service was too slow, but we could see that it was the result of inadequate help, a problem everywhere nowadays.
The made a reservation but had to wait for 20 minutes to get our table. When we got our table, it took another 5 minutes or so to get the menu. We didn’t get our food until an hour we arrived there. The restaurant decor is outdated. The food is good it’s overpriced for the things I mentioned.
Great with kids - no kids menu but easily accommodated our picky eaters by preparing spaghetti with meatballs, etc.
Excellent food and attentive service. Would definitely recommend especially for a special occasion.
We have been going to L'Allegria for years. The food and service are exceptional. We are treated like family. I celebrated my college graduation there and I am happy to say we just celebrated my 22 year old son's college graduation there. It's always festive and feels like a night out not just dinner. It's wonderful!!!
We had never been. Looking forward to going back. Good and service were excellent.
We had a group of ten for dinner to celebrate a graduation. The food and service were great. Most of us took home a portion of our meals because the portions were good but also because we filled up on appetizers and the delicious focaccia-type bread while waiting for the entrees. We ordered a few bottles of inexpensive but nice wine which added to the meal experience.
In my opinion the nice but dated interior and no byob (except on Mondays, I believe) may appeal to an older demographic but are a turnoff for younger customers, especially in NJ where byob is typical.
Overall a good place to have a special meal, but a little pricey for us to come back more regularly.
Wonderful food and service. Server was great!
Food and service are always on point. Great spot!
Everything was amazing! The special appetizer figs stuffed with goat cheese wrapped in prosciutto was out of this world.
Food was great and service was awesome they were very friendly and could tell they loved connecting with their customers. Ambiance was nice/clean and the pianist was great. Will definitely be coming back!
Lovely meal, warm friendly service. Great food and drink. We will be back.
It reminds me of a run down wedding venue. the food was average and expense for the quality. Just OK.
Everyone was as nice as possible
This place is consistently awesome. The food, the cocktails, & the service are fantastic
We had a early Val day dinner excellent food
I felt like I was in Italy when dining here. The waitress Magda was amazing. The Veal Chop was fantastic along with the Chilean Sea Bass. I would definitely go back again.
Our go-to Italian restaurant in NJ. Excellent food, owner-curated wine list and service. Owner's passion for pleasing patrons is a big factor in this establishment's long-term success.
It has been 10 years since we have eaten here and I have no idea why. It will join our regular stomping grounds. Everything was great!
