L'Amore Restaurant is a family owned and operated neighborhood Italian restaurant located in the heart of Phoenix. We offer fine dining with a family atmosphere. We personally operate the restaurant being there to meet and greet each guest as if they were entering our own home. Here's a secret - we are told we have the best Cioppino in town. Enjoy the formal dining room, the friendly bar with great, live, soft music from our musician Jimmy who plays on Thursday - Saturday night, or sit in our beautiful tree-lined patio over-looking the Phoenix Mountain Preserves. We're happy to serve your every need. If you're on your way home, call us for a take-out dinner, or if you're thinking of a holiday party, set up an appointment to speak to us about our catering.

    Started with calamari which was good but small portion. Also had the antipasto for two. Good selection and lots of options. Soup of the day was very good, tomato Florentine and Cesar salad we delicious. Others had the Cioppino, chicken Marsala, chicken piccata and the eggplant Parmesan. All good, desert of Taramasu and chocolate chip canolli all great!

    Food was great. The help staff were the best I can remember anywhere. The real star of the meal was my waiter, Sal. He was essentially perfect. And that is no exaggeration.

    I have gone to this restaurant for the past 10 years and this time very disappointing the food of course was wonderful as always!!!!!However the waiter kept bumping into the back of my mother chair every time never told us the specials. I think he would of rather taken on a bigger party Again the food was wonderful no complaints in that field!

    L'Amore never disappoints. The drinks are generous and served Mad Men style. We shared the mussel appetizer, which was simply outstanding. My son is addicted to the meatballs. I had the special halibut piccata; it was truly some of the best halibut I've ever eaten. Swapped out dinner salad for a half Caesar, no charge. Gilda was attentive but never intrusive. Here's the crazy bonus: with a little bit of attention, you can have a terrific Italian meal here and leave feeling satisfied, not stuffed, and the scale in the morning says you did a good job.

    All was good until I went to the Men's Restroom and saw highly seductive posters of women. There is no need for that. I urge the owners to replace those as soon as possible. I cannot recommend this restaurant for that reason. Thank you for considering my request.

    Probably the best Italian restaurant in the area. Great for special occasions. Always love having Greg come and say hello to our table. The lemoncello cake was fabulous!

    Wife had Bolognese with GF pasta. Sauce and Pasta were great. I had Chicken Picatta. Delicious. My son had the GF version of Chicken Farm and was happy with his meal. Brianna was our server. She did a great job. Took good care of us without hovering over the table. A nice atmosphere within the restaurant. Overall a very enjoyable meal.

    we had to make last-minute arrangements for a memorial service, and the team at this restaurant was phenomenal. They made arrangements for a large group. Last minute in the service was the best I have seen.

    Always a perfect spot for a great dinner. The chioppino is must for those who desire seafood. Their chef’s homemade blue cheese dressing is a decadent yet delicious addition to their house salad.

    Once again, a perfect meal at L’Amore. Martini and Manhattan with a split Caesar/Calamari salad. Cioppino and an outstanding Spaghetti Bolognese. A Russian River Cabernet made it complete. The crew is always attentive, friendly and professional! Go!

    It is our favorite restaurant. Greg, the owner is welcoming and cares how his customers are doing. The service is professional and friendly. The food is delicious and consistent. We have spent 2 New Years Eves at L'Amore because it is a guaranteed wonderful and festive evening.
