Restaurants near Bond Place Hotel

This was the 3rd time my wife and I have eaten at George. The first was when we lived in Toronto, and then last year while visiting. We came this time with friends who had never been. They noted afterward that it was one of the best meals they’d ever had, and they lived in NY for years. It is impressive that a tasting menu is not the same for everyone. The kitchen prepares two different dishes for the couple. We went with wine pairings and the sommelier did a wonderful job! Another great dining experience. The one thing I cannot figure out is why they were not recognized by Michelin. We’ve been to several starred restaurants and George is clearly their equal and in some cases better!

Best Italian restaurant in the city. Food and service are both great. Highly recommended

Party of 4. First timers at the Carbon Bar and it was amazing. Very unique and welcoming space. Super friendly staff and so knowledgeable about all food and drinks. A wonderful hint of hickory and maple smoke hangs in the air (not overwhelming). You just knew they would have a great whiskey tasting menu and that is an understatement. Best bbq I have ever had in Canada. Brisket 10, dry ribs 10, jalapeño corn bread was out of this word. Southern portions for sure. Drinks, wine list and food way under the average for price for a night out in Toronto. Our guests loved it. Lots on the menu for non BBQ lovers as well. A must go!

Everything was good. Maybe I am out of touch or the world has gone nuts: it was over $200 for our experience. We will be back but not as often.

The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. The acoustics in the room are a bit challenging for someone with some hearing issues, but overall our experience was delightful.
