Nebo Lodge is a small inn and restaurant on the unbridged island of North Haven, Maine. Dining at Nebo Lodge requires a boat ride to reach North Haven. The Maine State Ferry does not accommodate dinner reservations as the last ferry departs North Haven at 3:45pm. Nebo offers a private dinner cruise to reach the island most Fridays and Saturdays; tickets can be purchased here: http://www.nebolodge.com/round-trip-dinner-cruise. The purchased tickets guarantees you a reservation here for that night at 5:00. Otherwise you need to spend the night on island or come over on your own private boat. The Restaurant serves up a varied, seasonal menu of island-grown meat, seafood, and of course, bountiful vegetables. Homemade bread, creative cocktails, and decadent desserts serve as delicious accompaniments.

We’re only a stone’s throw away from picturesque Buck’s Harbor and just across the road from historic Condon’s Garage, made famous by Robert McCloskey’s beloved children’s book “One Morning in Maine.” We’re also directly adjacent to the Buck’s Harbor Market—under common ownership—which has been the center of community life for over 75 years. At Buck's Restaurant, our goal is to combine fine dining with friendly, observant service in a casual setting. Our menu features inventive dishes made with freshly caught seafood, premium meats and locally grown produce. Many of our dishes are gluten-free, and tasty vegetarian options are always available. For shellfish lovers, we offer a raw bar stocked with oysters and clams harvested from the cold, pristine waters of Penobscot Bay.

Havana has been committed to serving local and organic meats, produce and seafood since it opened 25 years ago. All of our meats are “naturally raised” meaning no steroids, antibiotics or hormones and “humanely raised” meaning room to roam, proper shelter and gentle handling. We make every effort to buy only sustainably harvested seafood, primarily from the Gulf of Maine. We have consistently searched out New England farmers and fisherfolk to purchase product that is not only great tasting but great for the environment and local economy as well.

Ever since then, we have been serving popovers and tea. Please note: Reservations may be made for inside dining only. Very nicely done. Great food and service. Fancy presentation. The acoustics mde it a little noisy and it was a bit warm in the dinning room...unusually warm weather for November in Camden. Not inexpensive, but a nice treat.

Really enjoyed our wine tasting. Cellardoor is a lovely spot, and the wines were much better than anticipated. Left with four bottles. The charcuterie boxes were fresh. The location where we were seated was very private and intimate. I appreciated the quiet beauty of the building and view. The gift shop was exceptional — I needed more time to shop! The staff (met I believe Shannon and Mary Lou) were welcoming and took our photo before we left. Will definitely return!

We visited Franny's (after not being able to get a reservation several months back when we were in Camden) and our reservations were excepted. We were shown to our table quicky and every part of the experience was wonderful. The restaurant is eclectic and special, the hostess, wait staff and bartender will all exceptional. We will definitely go back. Definitely make reservations, as they seem to fill fast and it looked like walk-ins were not able to get a table. Great food, great drinks, great night.

My wife and I went to Nebo for an anniversary dinner. The food and ambience were superb but service was very slow - 30 minutes between our salad and entrees of steak and of salmon. The wait would have been less annoying if the server had checked in since groups at nearby tables who came in after we did got the entrees much sooner.
