Went to reflections for my graduation dinner and had such a great experience! The atmosphere was lively, the food and drinks were both delicious, and the service was outstanding. Our server, Taufik, was super friendly and quick. He even surprised me with a complimentary glass of champagne and dessert to celebrate—such a thoughtful gesture! Overall, it was a memorable and fun night. Highly recommend!

During my recent visit to Hydra Estiatorio, one dish that truly stood out was the Octopus Salad. As someone who enjoys Mediterranean cuisine, I had high hopes—and I’m happy to say, it delivered. The first thing that impressed me was the presentation. The salad arrived beautifully plated, with the octopus charred to perfection—tender on the inside with just the right amount of crisp edges. It was sliced into generous pieces, not the rubbery slivers you sometimes get at lesser places. The flavor was equally impressive. The smoky char of the grilled octopus was balanced with a bright, citrusy vinaigrette, possibly with hints of lemon, olive oil, and herbs like oregano or thyme. The greens were fresh and crisp, and there were pops of acidity from cherry tomatoes and perhaps a touch of capers or pickled onion that added depth without overpowering the dish. What really made it memorable was the texture contrast—the firm, meaty octopus against the lightness of the greens and the tangy dressing. It felt both indulgent and refreshing—something I could eat at the start of any meal without feeling weighed down. Verdict: If you’re dining at Hydra and enjoy seafood, the Octopus Salad is a must-try. It captures the essence of Mediterranean simplicity: high-quality ingredients prepared with care and allowed to shine. I’d return for this dish alone.
