Brasserie 701 is part of the Hotel Place d'Armes and includes standard and high top tables. Service was friendly, professional, and not intrusive. Menu was a fine variation of traditional continental French cuisine. We ordered oysters, the moules et frites, and the steak, accompanied by a bottle of Prosecco, followed by the desert of bite sized sweets and coffee. We were not disappointed. However, it seems that the kitchen is one floor down and food had to be brought up a flight of stairs, so it was not piping hot. I would recommend Brasserie 701 for its menu, service, and moderate noise level, with provisos that it is a hotel restaurant, space is not intimate, and pricing is high.

As a non-meat eater I had such a lovely meal at this restaurant. I had the cauliflower with chipotle for appetizer and the salmon. Everything cooked perfectly really tasty. A great experience and great server, Fred. I would definitely return.
