Our experience at The Walrus Pub was exceptional! We arrived much earlier than our reservation time and the hostess was more than accommodating by letting us eat early! We also were there celebrating a birthday and both the hostess and waitress made sure to make us feel special. The food was AMAZING, both pizzas tasted like God himself made them. When we come back to Toronto we will absolutely be visiting again! 100/10 experience

I just want to thank you for the amazing hospitality. My mother and I had a great time celebrating her birthday. She could not stop talking about the amazing food and service we had. Her smile for the rest of the night was truly amazing. Thank you for making her birthday special. From start to finish it was perfect. Seafood platter was amazing, the crab cake was delish and 1/2 price wine was amazing value.

My new "go to" restaurant in the financial district. Daphne is an absolute gem. The decor is elegant and welcoming, the service is terrific - don't miss the lemon chiffon tart for dessert; even if you're watching calories. It's worth it!

Drove 1.5hrs to come here for a brunch in celebration of my wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. It was everything and more. Parking was easy either at the hotel or next door at the Scotia Bank Building. Only cost $13 and was able to charge my EV for free! The hotel is 5* and it shows. As soon as you walk into the building all staff are welcoming, decor is luxury and ambiance sets the tone for the restaurant on the 31st floor. The view is great and looks toward the water. You aren’t high enough to get a clear view due to the other high rises around, but felt less claustrophobic than being ground level. The staff are ready to welcome you and pay attention to your every need. They can accommodate food intolerances and allergies very well (which is always a win for me when I can ask for a lactose free cappuccino!). The menu is truly spectacular and everything is handmade with top ingredients. The Royal brunch was $80 per person, and despite the small servings, you do get full pretty quickly (and a mimosa is included). We were seated in the lounge area in front of the bar which wasn’t very comfortable for eating but was cozy so we didn’t ask to be seated elsewhere. The table was too small, the couch was very low and soft and the chair’s high armrests made it hard to move around for eating. But this is honestly the only down side to my experience, which I could have avoided had I asked to be seated elsewhere. I had made a note during reservation that we were celebrating and they gave special attention to the final plate by writing Happy Anniversary on it which was a nice detail. It is located 20mins from Queens Quay which was a nice stroll to take after our meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a luxe experience worth the price tag.
