"The service was outstanding .. even timing our entrees until our appetizers were eaten! That doesn't always happen. There seem to be better times of the day to go -- lunchtime is almost always very busy so going early (11/11:30) or late (after 1) are better times. Was esp. pleased that the good jazz was playing v. the somtimes pretty awful hardrock! Better music for lunch and even dinner for conversations helps."See more
"We had a great meal with superb service from Michael! James Murphy epitomed all that is expected in a prestigious fine dining experience. Mixed drinks and dessert were particularly noteworthy as they ended the meal and style. Thanks for a memorable experience."See more
"I admit I went for afternoon tea because of the Trump brand and pictures I had seen from the opening of the hotel.
The afternoon tea was fine. The items on the menu were delicious. However I was disappointed to see the plate at my place setting had a chip out of it. The other disappointment came when the tea was served and there were no extra spoons or spreaders for the lemon curd, raspberry jam or clotted cream. Had we been a group it would have been a real mess and mishmash of everyone’s large knives into small dishes and not sure how anything would have tasted well at that point.
The service was quite relaxed and there was a little bit of a language gap with the server. All is all is was a pleasant break in the day but nothing extra special compared to other Afternoon Teas I’ve been to."See more
