Restaurants near Gulfgate Shopping Center

We tried Annabelle Brasserie for the first time during Houston’s Restaurant Weeks. Our dinners were delicious and the service was fantastic! We will definitely be back!

Simply the best Excellent food quality and service

This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and in a beautiful, verdant setting on the bayou. The food was great but the menu in the restaurant didn’t match what we reviewed online before deciding to go. The manager accommodated by making an omelet (seems like stand brunch fare and this was a brunch meal) that was mysteriously not on the menu, which was very nice. The bus person then dropped guacamole on my friend when clearing during the meal, making a spot on her new skirt. I think with some tweaks this could be a great restaurant. They need to get their online presence coordinated with their in person presence, they should have the wait staff understand that saying no (especially to a simple request like an omelet at brunch) is the last resort and they need to train their bus staff to take care not to drop food on the guests.

We went last night for the first time and LOVED it!! We had raw Oysters that were superb! Great Martinis as well. Will definitely go back.

5 of us ate HRW lunch. We had wedge salad, soups, burger, filet medallions, salmon. All were excellent. Server Kyle and others were very good. We received plenty of attention.
