second time going it was just as good as the first, the food is amazing, and the restaurant is small and cozy, not to crowded. The drinks are perfect, and the lemon twists... not a meal to be rushed, is a great time
We ordered fish & chips and chicken wings. The fish was a very generous piece, coated with a lovely thin batter that was not greasy. The chips were perfectly cooked, slightly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. My husband ordered the New York chicken wings dusted with Cajun seasoning....
Nice atmosphere, food was very good and portions were enough that we were both able to take some home for lunch the next day. Service was great. Will definitely go back again.
We went for. Y birthday which was Chef’s birthday as well and Chef shared his birthday cake with us and chatted with us about the making of the restaurant. We shared the venison. Partridge, lamb, oysters, shrimp,a don sour dough and had two bottles of Barolo. It was incredible! We have already made...
This restaurant is literally the foundation of Welland. If you’re ever looking for a great place to go for food, family events, sporting events, or just catching up with friends, it is well worth the drive. I’ve grown up in Welland my whole life, this was our family spot and it always will be. Not...
Very good food and service as usual, as we are seniors, the music level is always a bit over the top for us but the rest of the experience overtake that issue.. so we're all good. thanks
This was a combination of innovative and very good food preparation, attentive service and fine wines well matched to the food. It was well worth going there.
We both had the Steelhead trout (generous portion) served with finglerling potatoes, nicely browned cauliflower and brussels sprouts which were not over cooked. Presentation was spectacular. Unoaked Chardonanny also went down well. Nice and quiet for conversation as well which is an added bonus.
Dear friend visiting.
Well prepared food along with an excellent wine list. Service was attentive without being intrusive (thank you, Alison). Well worth the drive from Niagara.
