I met Zoe last night and she gave me a warm welcome. She was very professional and attentive, explaining today's special and the menu. I was really impressed with her service. 😊 I recommend trying the "Rib Eye," as it's tender and juicy. The "Squid and Sausage" is also worth a try. The "Beef Tartare" is presented nicely but lacks flavour. The "Tempura Squash" is too greasy due to an excessive amount of flour, leaving an oily taste in the mouth.

Family restaurants around Old Toronto were all booked for a Saturday night so took the gf and her 11-y.o. and 7-y.o. sons to The Joneses. We saw one other family there with young kids but all other patrons were adults. Ordered Detroit-style pepperoni pizza (minus the jalapenos), mac&cheese, spaghetti w/meatballs and cheese bread and shared everything family-style. Also ordered a salmon poke bowl. Needless to say there was nothing left of anything so the food was delicious - even with a very picky 7-y.o. Two cokes, a coffee and sparking water - no dessert - and after tax and tip bill was two hundred even. A bit pricey in my opinion which is reflected in my value assessment. For what we ate the Ol' Spag Fact might have been a better option. May come back with just the gf to try other menu items.
