- DDustinBaja California Sur •1 review4.0Dined 7 days agoThe atmosphere is great. Beautiful views. However, the food wasn’t outstanding. It was okay but not exceptional. Also the chairs were not super comfortable. I would visit here again anyway.More infoAzoteaPrice: Very Expensive• Global, International• La Paz•4.6
- KKennethDallas - Fort Worth •31 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 24, 2024Quemadero should get a Michelin Star. This eating experience was stunning. Both my wife and I were amazed that from the time we walked in the door, they scored a 10 on every move, from the young lady that greeted us, to the two members of the staff that waited on us, to what must be a great chef and kitchen staff. I started with the Pulpo Rostizado. I'm not a big octopus fan, but I had it in Peru once and it was wonderful. Now I have had a second wonderful experience. I followed that with the Pasta Con Langosta. Stunning! Large pieces of langosta. Pasta perfectly cooked. I finished with a Volcan de Chocolate. Most places the chocolate doesn't flow when you cut into it. But at Quemadero when you order a Volcan, you get a Volcan. My wife had the Shrimp With Tamarind Miso and Carmelized Avocado. She loved it with a glass of Afrodita wine (Chardonnay / Chenin Blanc from Baja. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with the Mexican wines. They were very good. I finished the evening with a Frangelico on the rocks. My wife said I have to find out what the story is behind the embroidered table clothes. Our waiter wasn't sure. I will say they were thought provoking. I have to address a very negative review I read before booking a reservation at Quemadero. As I read it, one statement clearly identified the writer as a troll. It's sad that people like that exist and waste their time trying to denigrate a wonderful operation. Quemadero ..... Bravo! You have a wonderful operation from top to bottom.More infoQuemaderoPrice: Expensive• Global, International• La Paz•4.7
- AAngelicaHawaii •3 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 14, 2024An AMAZING experience of superb food, ambience like no other, extremely attentive service and music was wonderful. My husband and I are foodies from CA and this was the best culinary experience of our lives. The ambience had a lovely unique feel. The chef came out in the beginning of service and introduced himself to us and that was a lovely touch. The waiter was very friendly. This restaurant deserves a Michelin star.More infoComedorPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Asian• La Paz•4.7
