We went to GW Fin’s for our ten year anniversary. The table was set up with an anniversary menu to celebrate the date and our experience. From the lobster dumplings and tempura bone-in snapper, to the Parmesan sheepshead and their signature scalibut, every dish was delicious. Our server Ryan, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and informative. I had a jalapeño margarita and my partner had a bramble both of which were phenomenal. We had after dinner drinks including an espresso martini, and their coco brew as well as a strawberry rhubarb like gelato for dessert. We were also given complimentary truffles to celebrate our anniversary. Service and food were second to none. If we ever come back to New Orleans, this would be the first restaurant we’d be making reservations to.

The dining room ran like a well oiled machine. The service was impeccable. The restaurant was immaculate which is the exception in New Orleans. We visited during restaurant week so the value of our meal was exceptional. We also enjoyed the reasonably priced wine selections.

Our server was wonderful. She was attentive but not intrusive. Not my first visit as we are local. I was disappointed that the appetizer I wanted was not available at noon on Sunday. I wanted to try something new but settled on the familiar and delicious Turtle Soup. I thought it was funny but not sure tourists would appreciate the manager walking from the kitchen through the main dining room holding a mop!!
