Restaurants near Museum of Fine Arts

This is an exceptional restaurant. We had a really great server named Sonny. They only do lunch during December. It was a real treat to do this meal in the middle of the day. The price tag for two people was astronomical, however. (They offered us a 60 ounce Japanese Wagyu tomahawk steak for $650, for example. We passed.). That being said, in the end, it was well worth the price in my opinion.

Everything at Abe and Louie's was great . We were seated as soon as we walked in. Were greeted by our server as soon as seated Lovely warm dinner rolls arrived, wine was ordered and dinner ordered. Water glass was always promptly refilled. Dinner arrived and was up to the Abe and Louie's standards. Rib Eyes MR with blue cheese fondue, sides of scalloped potatoes, and sautéed mushrooms were all wonderful. Our waiter was very attentive and we had everything we needed going along. Topped off dinner with the chocolate layer cake that came with vanilla ice creme, large size allowed us to share one. As always Abe and Louie came thru with a great meal and memory.

The food was delicious; the atmosphere was a bit "bustling" but that did not detract from the amazing cuisine. Would definitely return -- and bonus...a 20% discount coupon to shop at the downstairs market. Excellent experience.

From beginning to end a lovely dining experience! Food was so……good . We had the sea bass which was cooked to perfection. Fun cocktails! If you are looking for something quite ….this is not the place for you!

Such a lovely site and helpful staff. Was raining so hard, and the hostess brought us hot water and lemon. An appreciated gesture.
