Mark was the perfect combination of attentive but not over busy and humourous without being cheeky. We had a lot of fun and our meals were amazing! The Short Rib Pappardelles (sp?); the Crab and Shrimp Louie Salad and the Halibut Fish & Chips. Beautiful setting even in the rain and had a lovely long relaxed lunch.

Excellent staff and food. Had the seven course kaiseki and all was amazing. Best sushi I’ve ever had with crazy good flavours and freshness. The sake pairing was interesting too. Tried types I’ve never had before. Would go back for sure on an extra special occasion.

We can understand why Joe Forte’s is a solid staple of the Vancouver restaurant scene! Its upscale without being snobbish or stuffy, and you feel comfortable either dressed up or casual. I’m glad we went while in town. The front desk clerk at the Westin who recommended it said it was his absolute favorite restaurant! I can understand why!

The food was excellent and the service was great. The manager put her hand up when I tried to ask he a question. Then she ignored me when I tried to get her attention which I thought was rude. Our server was great and helped out when she returned from serving other tables.
