"had a great experience at Fiorella's. I called twice to confirm that we could get a slice of birthday cake with a candle for my sister's birthday, and I was assured that information was noted on the reservation. Dinner was great, and then the check came, with no birthday cake. When I asked the waitress she didn't know anything about it. When i asked at the hostess stand, they said there was nothing in their system about that, and by the way, they don't even have cake. The manager offered me any other dessert option and while i was considering that, he changed his mind and offered to go to a partner restaurant and get a slice of cake from them. I said we'd be OK with another dessert, but he reassured me that it was no problem and he'd be right back. That was really above and beyond, my sister was happy with her birthday cake, no one knew that there was a hitch in the plan, and the manager was beyond awesome, coming over to wish my sister happy birthday. I recommend this restaurant 100%!"See more
