The Salt Line1. The Salt Line0.08 mi
(547 reviews)
Seafood | Navy Yard,

"As Washington finally begins to take better advantage of its extensive waterfront, Salt Line leaps to the top spot for everyone more interested in the food and scenery than the Georgetown scene. Like the view across the Anacostia, Inside and out, Salt Line has waterfront character. From our first greeting at the door, through several courteous and knowledgeable wait staff and servers, the experience was friendly professional. My wife (raised on the Bay) loved the oysters and crabs while both my fish dishes were fresh and tasty. Wine list is well priced and well chosen. And as seniors, we can get to Salt Line and back home on the Circulator for 50 cents each way! We plan to become regulars."See more

Italian | Navy Yard,

"This is our second trip to Morini and it was even better than our first. The Burrata appetizer is sensational, the Crostini very good. All of our pastas were terrific, very different and my Brodetto, a seafood stew was beautifully spiced and full of great shellfish, scallops and swordfish. We shared a lovely Super Tuscan, il Fauno, which was very reasonably priced. We will return."See more

Agua 3016. Agua 3010.34 mi

Mexican | Navy Yard,

"Agua 301's food has the taste of fresh ingredients. The portions are small (except the nachos), but so are the prices, so the value is high. The service was friendly and attentive enough. While it fronts on the river, most of the outside seating is on the side facing a bridge over a fountain -- still nice but not a river view. The sangria may be better than the margaritas, which were not to my liking."See more

"Starting with the architecture of the building, all the way to the smallest decor elements on the tables - this place is beautiful! The massive floor to ceiling windows let in amazing amounts of natural light and provide a wonderful view of the water! Not only is it beautiful, but the food is phenomenal. I can't wait to go back and try more! The wine was also good - we only tried the DC wines, and they were on the lighter side (the Rose and Pinot Nior). The Rose was one of the best I've had - dry and not very sweet."See more
