Restaurants near Northwestern University

A great visit & dinner with Friends/Neighbors Helen & Michael. We shared the bread. Friends had: their Libations – Red Sangria & Spanish Margarita. Q’s had: Old Fashion & A Perfect Manhattan Friends shared: Berenjenas Rellenas con Queso. Pulpito a la Plancha. Pollo al Whisky. Q-tips shared: Queso de Cabra con Tomate – Baked Goat cheese in tomato sauce, garlic bread. Gambas al Ajillo – Sauteed shrimp with olive oil, garlic and chiles. Chuletitas de Cordero – Baby lamb chops in a savory red wine sauce served with couscous.

We sat outside on a lovely summer day. Had the small sandwich and salad for lunch.. The server checked on us a couple of times which is always a plus.

The food and service were both superb. I had the best carne asada I have ever been served. The restaurant is very pleasant, the only problem was excessive noise, although we later saw there was a back room that might have been quieter.

The location, ambiance, and service are all amazing. The food was good. I'd go again.

Classic deep dish pizza, the owner Manny personally came by and made sure everything was the way we wanted it! His entire staff is very attentive and the food was amazing!
