Restaurants near Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum

Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba is one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. The food is such good quality and tastes amazing every time I’m there. The service is impeccable and the servers are so kind. Overall, an amazing experience and highly recommend for date night, events, or just a simple dinner.

We had a lovely, memorable evening at Mon Ami Gabi! It had been many years since my last dining experience at this restaurant, and I found the experience even better than I remembered. The ambiance was warm and cozy, the food uniformly excellent (we particularly enjoyed the French Onion Soup, deviled eggs, filet mignon au poivre, and trout), and our server, Eric, was exceptionally warm, gracious, and knowledgeable. Already looking forward to my next dinner at this Lincoln Park gem!

Went for the first time for brunch, and I was not disappointed. The menu is pretty straightforward and simple. Everything we ordered was tasty and reasonably priced. Service is generally great, and they did not rush us. Drinks flowed, and my whole party had a memorable and enjoyable experience. Oh…and did I mention the views!

An incredible experience from beginning to end. The food was innovative yet familiar, and each dish was incredible. Our server was outstanding and her enthusiasm when describing the courses and our wine pairings elevated the entire experience. Service overall was comparable to 3+ Michelin starred restaurants. We didn’t expect it to be *this* great, but they’re definitely overachieving at North Pond. Can’t wait for a return visit!
