Amazing experience! The tasting menu was incredible.

I´ve known this restaurant for 30 years, talking to a waiter he ´s been working there for 26 years. Back then it was a well recommended novelty of delicious an innovative mexican cuisine, and it was; now it is not a novelty and the innovative mexican cuisine keeps on thriving. Adding to this is the high quality of food, steaks, ingredients and desserts, being the corn custard an absolute delight. All of the staff is corteous and attentive to your service. The ambience, the setting and the awesome and wonderful view of the Tepozteco is something special. After 30 years El Ciruelo not only has it kept it´s standards, it has surpassed them. In my opinion it is a must place to eat if you are looking for a high end eating experience. Overall it is exquisite!

Wonderful experience at Mesa de Origen! The food and service exceeded our expectations.

This is one of my top attractions in Tepoztlán. If you read this, you should come to Tepoz and endure its awful streets with no pavement at all. In the end the reward is a joyous and tasteful dinner served by excellent service. Remember good rewards always come after embarking in challenging adventures.
