Casa Dani translates to Dani's House, derived from southern Spain's naming of small family restaurants as if they were the Chef's home, and that is precisely Chef Dani Garcia's intention, opening the doors to his house through avant-garde cuisine and a menu featuring items inspired by Spain's Mediterranean south. One of Spain's most internationally renowned chefs, having achieved 3 Michelin stars and the Bib Gourmand in 2015, Garcia's culinary style mixes surprising flavors, textures, and even temperatures without losing sight of his culinary roots. I've been to Carmines countless times, but this latest visit was hands down the best experience yet! The beautiful decoration really makes you feel like you've been teleported to a different place. Marian, our server, was phenomenal! She had great recommendations, especially the bread pudding – it's seriously underrated and the best dessert ever. It was the cherry on top of the cake for sure. While the tiramisu I had before was pretty disappointing, the bread pudding totally made up for it. The place can get pretty loud and busy, but the lively atmosphere adds to the charm. Plus, Marian's knowledge and service made everything smooth. Can't wait to go back!

We sat outside, it was quieter outside, nice lighting on the table and strung above us. The cocktails and food we ordered were incredible. I had my grandfather with me, and he enjoyed the meal. Our servers were attentive. Another great experience at Zou Zou!

Our party of four dined at the Altair while staying at Arlo Midtown. We initially chose Altair for its convenience prior to attending a concert at MSG. We quickly discovered that convenience was only one of the great benefits of dining at Altair. The service was attentive but not creepy. The wine list was approachable and perfect with the food offerings. The menu is on the smaller side while offering something for everyone. We each thoroughly enjoyed our meals of Hanger Steak with Pistachio Romesco, whole Sea Bass with herbs, fiddlehead ferns with baby potatoes and sugar snap peas, seared sea scallops and a gorgeous bucatini dish. No one left a morsel behind! We will be back, whether staying at the Arlo or not.
