"it was a little bit too much noise for an evening business meeting, but the ambiance was great and the service perfect. Definitely a nice place to have a drink. (note: we have not eaten so I don't know about the food. As I couldn't leave this option blank I marked 3 stars but it may have been outstanding I don't know…)"See more
"Delighted to have found a delicious Italian restaurant downtown. The service was good, friendly and knowledgeable. The ambiance was warm and inviting. Cosy decor. The cocktail I had was delicious.
I will be going back without a doubt."See more
"Went to Peroni's before hockey game, so was a quieter time of the evening. Found the service very good. Food was quite good. Was able to make a change to the Table D'hote pasta choice (so was great they accommodated this). Enjoyed the location, food, drinks and very good service. Would recommend it."See more
"We were looking for a traditional French restaurant. Alexandre et Fils did not disappoint. You will feel like you are in Paris. Service was excellent. Cassoulet was a bit salty, but I would go back for it again. This will be a go to whenever I am in Montreal."See more
"Food was fresh and service was very good. Had wished that there would have been sake available by the glass. Very hip setting - happening bar scene. Good place for a first date or quick bite with friends before a night out. Did sense that staff tried too hard to upsell though - minor flaw."See more
"The wine list extensive and the servers are extremely knowledgeable of what they offer and make excellent suggestions.
We tried a bit of everything from the menu. As everyone else has mentioned the Bison burgers are a must try, also the octopus (seasonal) was really good.
We went on a Sunday evening so it as pretty quiet and got to admire the chandelier"See more
"Very nice place and quiet place. Food was exceptional French cuisine bursting with flavor. The overall staff was awesome and our waitress was beautiful and looked like she walked out of a fashion magazine. Over the top experience. Our BEST food experience in Montreal this trip. Highly recommend this place."See more
"Had the seafood platter to share which was fantastic. Very fresh and quite filling(don’t bother ordering an entree!). Was paired with a recommended wine which went perfect with what we ate. We’ll be going back again for sure."See more
"I love the intimate cafe. I was told by the owner that the open table reservations were only for the reserved rooms. That is too bad for me. Since there are few tables for the public cafe area. I would have definitely used it only for the cafe. I am not sure if I would go for a reserved room via opentable when they change it over unfortunately. It wouldn't be for me.
The collection of teas and lattes are delicious! Highly recommended!"See more
"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable old friend. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The Drunken Duck Wings, recommended by our server were amazing! We especially enjoyed them paired with the homemade hot sauce. The double-shot Mojitio was ok, but the Cider Mojito was exceptional!!
Service was well-timed and friendly."See more
"Madison’s is our go-to restaurant on event nights at the Bell Center. The food is good, everyone can find something they like and the service is excellent. Especially if you are in a hurry. Just tell them you are going to the show and they make it happen."See more
