We have your perfect location overlooking the Big Rideau Lake and marina from our roof top lakeview deck, marina view undercover boathouse patio, or gas-dock bar/lounge and dining room, complete with full resorted boat bar. We are open seasonally for 6 months, May through October.     When planning our trip to Ottawa from NYS, Riviera was one of the top rated places to eat in town and it still exceeded our expectations. We sat at the counter and loved being able to watch the food get made while we ate our delicious plates. We were there on a Friday night and it never got insanely busy, but we did leave around 8:30pm so maybe it picks up after that. Our server, Tim, was also wonderful, but it was tough to serve people at the counter since he couldn’t hear us well and would sometimes accidentally sneak up on us lol. Either way, he made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. We also took photos at the Photo Booth in the back. It was the smallest booth seat ever made lol, but still a cute add to the environment.

    The salad knifes are useless, impossible to cut a cucumber with it. The music could be a little louder, so it can cover the crowd noise. The food was excellent. Service was good, didn’t have to wait too long neither for waitresses or for food and drinks.

    I absolutely love Joe's kitchen and once more it did not disappoint. We were there for lunch. We had pizzas, I had the one with goat cheese and my husband had the ham and pineapple. It was super good, the crust is unbeatable, the portion generous and the amber beer tasted great. Nice and friendly staff and what to say about the decor, it's charming! Thanks Joe's Kitchen!
