The Sou'Wester Restaurant and Gift Shop began in 1967 as a small five table tearoom at the side of a house at its present location. It has been expanded over the last five decades to a 180-seat restaurant offering traditional Maritime and seafood dishes, and a two-level gift shop with one of the Maritimes largest selections of giftware. Prelude is a Pop-Up Restaurant by Scotian Heritage Foods; and is located in the President's Lodge in the Atlantic School of Theology, at 630 Francklyn Street, Halifax. We will be open for dinner Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and some Wednesdays. Our mission is to highlight local and seasonal Nova Scotia ingredients and the menu will change every two weeks to reflect what’s in season.
