Brian Dunsmoor’s namesake restaurant, Dunsmoor, is the latest iteration of his ongoing exploration of American heritage cooking. It is, first and foremost, a restaurant for the community that surrounds it, and a loving expression of the relentless research that has informed his cooking for the last ten years. We offer the full menu at tables in our dining room and at the chef's counter, as well as at our outdoor tables. Reservations are recommended but we make every effort to accommodate walk-ins when possible. Dunsmoor's wine bar, accessible either through the restaurant or via its own door on Ave 35, does not accept reservations and serves a limited menu of our raw and larder items.

Great Service, Delicious food and drinks. The gardens and galleries are a treasure and mixed with tea room dining a real treasure or special experience. My surprise was still need to pay admission fee if only going to tea room. This was disclosed beforehand but seemed squeezing additional $$$ when already spending a lot for just the tea room experience. $100 is the new $20 In addition, the all gender bathroom was very uncomfortable.. Lots of stalls and predominantly women and children. I’m all for equality and inclusion but it was a very odd and uncomfortable experience.

This restaurant has been open for six years and I’ve been dying to go. I went last night and it did not disappoint. It’s a decor is modern and chic. It is upscale, so check your dress code. The service is friendly and professional. The hosts remember your names! If you’re at the bar waiting for your table, they come to you and greet you with your names. Reservations are a must. I had reservations and still had to wait 15 minutes at the bar tender and the service was great. Parking : There’s meter parking in the front and there is parking lot in the back but it cost you so you might wanna Uber The menu - The menu has a diverse selection, appetizers, soup, salad, and your main dishes and your dessert. Please note, if you like different types of sides with your meal, you will have to request them because the sides that come with your order are the ones that you get. There are no additional à la carts. You can ask, but they may or may not be able to make it They had one special. What I liked about is that Kathy, my waitress, told us the special and the price I recommend the Caesar salad, Chicken Piccata. The sauce is amazing and the green beans served with it were fresh and crisp. The ahi tuna with risotto cake is an amazing combo!

One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had in LA. The food was delicious and the ambience was perfect for a fun date night. We were seated at the Chef’s Counter because I read reviews prior that said it’s the best… it was! All of the apps & entrees were great, but the dish that has us wanting to go back is the Pork & Green Chili Stew with handmade tortillas! The lamb sirloin is a close second favorite. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. Prices were high for small dishes, but I’d be strategic on the next visit and not order so much. We definitely over ordered too many dishes.

The food was great and our waitress was very helpful. I was unsure as to what to order, but the waitress patiently described the food choices and provided recommendations. I decided to go with one of the larger family sized meals which included steak with chimichurri sauce, Yukon potatoes, broccoli and carrots. All of the food was delicious including the empanadas and calamari.
