"The occasion was Mother's Day and Graduation Day. Since we were out-of-town, we were positively surprised by the attention of the waiters and waitresses. The food was a brunch buffet with many familiar items, but also less familiar. The fish and meats were excellent. Everything was fresh and tasty. The room is large, but it was not that noisy. A small band with singer performed hits from the earlier part of the 20th century. Everyone seemed to be having a good time."See more
"I thought the restaurant was fairly pricey. Lunch burger $22++. Ends up a $30-32 lunch for a burger
I had the club sandwich for $20. Also high! Sandwich was not constructed efficiently. Two halves are bulky
And hard to pick up easily. Four quarters with toothpicks would have been easier.
Please excuse the title opentable chose. Poor judgement on its part"See more
"The plates that were brought to us were very dirty and sticky. It took awhile to get new plates and it hurt the experience at the beginning. The manager and server apologized and got the issue fixed and the rest of the night was great. Good food!"See more
"What a great experience! Everything from the incredible salad bar to the fried chicken, collard greens, black eye peas, and freshly made bread was amazing. Corn bread, muffins, and biscuits were served. I preferred the muffins but everything was fantastic. Our server “Cup Cake” was equally amazing as well. For dessert, we had the peach cobbler/peach pie. I haven’t had anything that taste that good since my Grandma was alive. You must go here to eat."See more
