Joseph's refined style and atmosphere make it a popular spot for business lunches, as well as Downtown classic. But don't let the fancy setting fool you—behind all the elegance is an excellent and authentic Italian kitchen that churns out rustic dishes reminiscent of the old country. Joseph's staff takes the Italian reverence for abbondanza (abundance) to heart, and won't let you walk away from your meal hungry. Pasta, chops, chicken, salad—everything on this menu bears the true taste of Italy. The main courses at Joseph's are often accompanied by vegetables and potatoes, and there are family-style platter options available if you are ordering with a group. If "Italian food" in the Financial District conjures up thoughts of chicken parmigiana subs from a pizza place, it's time for a step into the elegance and flavor of Joseph's.

Always great food, must haves crispy rice, shrimp tempura and the freshest sashimi. Service is amazing, the woman manager? is really on top of everything. Only thing is it’ll cost you but it’s worth it.

They went above and beyond. Not only was the food delicious but they gave my husband a rose to give me while I was in the bathroom and brought us the best dessert I’ve ever had. Their cheesecake is to die for. This is definitely our new regular spot.

Finding this spot was a bit challenging. We were directed by an absolutely delightful employee at Anthropologie who reassured us, it happens all the time. We arrived 15min before our 5:30pm reservation and had to wait till 5:40pm before they led us down the stairs to our table. Thankfully they let us sit while we waited. Now about this NOBU experience — for this vegan family, it was beyond words because our server Mr Islam was absolutely so attentive and outstanding ! Extraordinary service by all but this special graduation dinner became a most cherished beautiful experience because of Islam. The food was delicious. The ambiance trendy. We’ll definitely look forward to many more visits. Thank you Nobu Downtown for making this a dinner to joyfully remember.

The salad lyonnaise is forever changing… happy that it wasn’t wet like last years alas it was less than 1/2 the size with the lardo cut so tiny o couldn’t taste it… Maison Harlem at 126th tastes like you are eating it in Lyon …also the vinaigrette was not sharp enough… okay but all around sadly lacking
