This is one place we go to have good quality Mexican food.
Always a good time at Las Margaritas
Great food choices and the service was excellent. The menu accommodates vegetarian diet also.
The food is very fresh, the quality is excellent and the service is always great.
Always enjoy going to Las Maragritas. Great food and service.
the waitress was really great and the food was yummy
Always good xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The food was awesome. We saw. We came. We were conqured. I could not get another mouthful in, it was so good, filling and tasty. The chips and salsa were as alway, a treat. The margaritas perfect. Our main courses were excellent enchiladas, de carnitas and san blas. A special mention for the green tomatillo sauce--to die for.
We got in early Tuesday evening with a reservation. Outside seating was already taken up when we arrived and 20 minutes later the place really started to quickly fill up (50% full by 18:00) for the inside seats. The only downer, and it was minor, is that the maître d' was a little cold and even thought we said it was our 36th anniversary, he sat us in a less than good location, up against a dark wall while the inside was still 90% empty at the time.
The rest of the staff was cheerful and nice and very helpful.
The price was very reasonable. We came prepared to drop a c-note, but we didn't even break $60!
Although we don't live near the place, we like drop in 4-6 times a year. I heartily recommend Las Margaritas to anyone in the Vancouver area.
The decor, the ambiance, the people, the chips and salsa... On point!
We only had an hour to finish up our convo and dinner at this place, and yet we managed - not the convo part because the food was SO GOOD.
Warm chips and homemade salsa blew our mind even before we had a taste of the mains. Would definitely buy them to take home next time!
Over the years one of our favourite restaurants in Vancouver. It’s a great place to go with family or even more fun place to party with friends. Food is great, service is exclllent, ambiance is spot on!
Overall favourite Mexican food while visiting Vancouver.
Las Margarita’s is an casual place to eat with good service. The happy hour menu got us off to a gre at start. My enchiladas entree was a little over salted.
It was the ‘usual’ night at Las Margs! Emily was a great server, easy going and kept the drinks flowing! We live in the neighbourhood and bring family when they visit from out of town! Las Margs is always consistent, great food, good price!
We ordered a pitcher of VIRGIN margaritas for us and our children under 12 years old. The kids complained that they did not taste good - tasted “off” ... not as good as before. I asked the waitress if they were indeed virgin drinks. She later came back (after they were half gone) scooped up the drinks and told us she would bring fresh drinks, just in case. When we tried the fresh drinks, it was VERY obvious that the first round did have alcohol in it. We don’t even drink alcohol ourselves, let alone our kids. No apology and we were still charged for the pitcher of drink.
It was my birthday and I wanted some good Mexican food. (2 adults, 1 well behaved 6 yr old). Restaurant was busy which we took as a good sign. Got seated and our waiter, an older guy, seemed disengaged. Not rude just going through the motions. Didn't write our order down and got my granddaughter's wrong. Stuff happens and her meal was replaced. Food was awful, portions small and way overpriced. We've eaten in the Yucatan and Las Margaritas was not even close. I had the chicken loco, the chicken breast was small, overcooked and dry, rather tasteless and came with a small salad and a small portion of black beans for $18.95. I had enchiladas, ate half and brought the rest home for the dog. $7 for a Corona and it didn't even come with a slice of lime, I had to ask for it and the waiter brought it in his hand! Absolutely awful service and food. Will not be returning and cannot recommend.
The strawberry (slush) margarita was soooooo good! The mango margarita wasn’t bad either but a bit sour compared to the strawberry one. Gosh I’m daydreaming about it now!!!
The free nacho was also yum and served warm, and I liked the jalapeño poppers, it had cream cheese inside! The chicken quesadilla tasted like tuna though lol
My girlfriends went to celebrate a birthday. We live in Port Coquitlam and so worth the drive. Excellent service and food was fabulous. We will be back soon!
Great Patio! Love the food and the margaritas. It was a pleasure.
It was a bit noisy but that was more than offset by the food, it was the best Mexican we've had in Vancouver.
I hadn’t been there in many years so it was good to return. I enjoyed my meal while I was catching up with an old friend. The food, service, and ambiance was great. I will definitely go back there again, and hopefully sooner next time!
I’ve always enjoyed Las Margaritas, so it was an easy choice for my birthday celebration. I thought it was odd that the hostess informed me I was early for my reservation, but I was only five minutes early. I then noticed they moved people from a table and re-set it, so I’m assuming they didn’t actually reserve a table for me but had to think fast. I informed the hostess it was my birthday, but, despite another table receiving birthday treatment, I only received regular service.
The food was excellent as always. The drinks were tasty. The meals came out pretty quickly, but the churros seemed to take an extra long time. The server was fine, not extra friendly or attentive but ok.
It’s too bad parking is so difficult and expensive.
Bottom line, I’ll still go to Las Margaritas for the tasty food and drinks, but I certainly won’t expect any particularly good service for a special occasion.
I used to come to Las Margaritas all the time in high school and was in the area and decided to come here for dinner. We were greeted by a lovely host but I felt like our server was there just to do his job. Very monotone. No emotion there was only 2 of us and he could remember what we ordered lol. The food in my opinion has gone down in quality, but it might be amazing for others. Not too sure if I would return
Always enjoy the patio and tonight was one exception. Sunshine, good food and a cerveza! Excellente!
Excellent place for dinner on the patio on a warm summer night.
Our service was good, the margaritas where just okay, not worth $11 each! And the salmon tacos were dry and not much flavour. They need to do their research on making a fish taco with the proper ingredients, they were very expensive at $16.75 for 2 tacos!
Booked a table for 4 to catch up with old friends. Our server was wonderful, and never rushed us. Food was wonderful.
Best Mexican food in the city. Always fantastic food and service.
We had a great time! Food and drinks were great and the server was very cautious and accommodating to our food allergies (which was lime....and of all places we chose a mexican restaurant- it's that good!)
Really good comfort food with awesome service in a fun, lively setting. We will be back again
Food is always delicious, service is always awesome. But, it’s REALLY loud and hard to have a conversation.
The food is always good at Las Margaritas. We’ve tried a big variety of offerings over the years, and it’s very consistent in quality.
Been to this place countless times, and always an excellent experience! Highly recommend for all to try. Delicious food, great atmosphere!
We were celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary. The food was awesome and our server Noelle was one in a million... we will be back.❤️😎😎
Good food and attentive service on a busy Saturday night
The food and service were very good. However, it is very noisy.
We go quite often. My son loves Mexican food and enjoys the menu. Great atmosphere !
We have been eating and drinking at this 4th avenue icon since it opened.
Always good, always pleasant.
Attentive service good family dining.
Kids always love it
It’s busy, so a reservation is a good idea
