Las Margaritas

Las Margaritas has great Mexican food and atmosphere. Was very noisy in the dining room this time something we don't usually notice maybe because we usually done on the patio. They were busy and service was affected but our waitress was personable and affable. The prices have gone up especially the fajitas, which is a shame.

Found food pricey in comparison to other restaurants. Was nice to get free cake for birthday. Margarita too sour. Fish tacos had too much batter not enough fish.

Awesome server. Food great and great value. Was a lucky night for us as there was a mariachi band playing...really made it special!

Long delays in ordering drinks and actually getting drinks, same with any additional drinks ordered.

Very good, consistent food. The portions are generous without going overboard.

The service was excellent - friendly and prompt. Unlike many places we didn't have to wait for the bill. We asked and it was there.

The patio was lovely although that was, in part, due to the weather which was pleasantly warm.

Seated promptly, hostess was pleasant and cheerful, server was only okay, didn't check in about our meal until we were almost done, no refill of water until near the end.

One of our dishes, the burrito was super wet for some reason, watery, not saucy. Sangria could have been better.

Atmosphere was light and fun, food was very mediocre as with the service

Diverse menu; food was ok, as was margarita. Side dishes (rice etc) were disappointing - tasted like instant rice. Guacamole also not freshly made

Food was great ! It was busy as usual and we were at once served a small bowl of salsa and chips while waiting for our server .
Love the chips and salsa ! The restaurant should provide more salsa dip. The salsa dip was finished before we could finish our chips.
We would have given more tips had the server noticing that we had already finished our salsa asked us whether we needed more . No, she just took the bowl away, not even asking whether we need more.

Enjoyed the evening as usual.
Ordered the COCHINITA PIBIL, achiote marinated pork, oven roasted in a banana leaf. Quite delicious and would order again.

Casual dining restaurant with amazing food! I ordered the LA burrito, it was huge and came with a garden salad on the side. Would highly recommend!

Nothing extraordinary, decent food for a reasonable price. I sent back the ceviche because of the taste but the enchiladas were good and same with the margaritas.

Great night out! Our party of 4 enjoyed street tacos and fresh fish dish of the day for dinner. Food is fresh, light and flavorful. Waited 20 mins in the bar (arrived 6:20 on a Wednesday) for outside seating enjoying their signature fresh margaritas and complimentary chips and salsa while waiting. Called same day to make a reservation but all were taken so thank goodness could make an open table reservation as a back up since patio is not reservable. Indoor was too loud for our parties taste. Outdoor was perfect even though patio is adjacent to a busy street corner.

Always great food. Staff really friendly. Can be loud at times. In the summer their deck is fabulous.

This was our first time there and we will be back. Great fun atmosphere and wonderful food. The servers were awesome!!!!

the ceviché shouldn't even have been served. the mystery white fish was overcooked and diced in such tiny bits that they resembled the size of a green pea. not only that, the ceviché was extremely unpalatable as it was over-salted. not pleased with this inedible appetizer whatsoever. and no staff dropped by to ask if everything was fine.

Restaurant is very noisy. Difficult to hear conversation at our own table. Family beside us with 4 kids was playing a yelling game.

We are never disappointed at Las Margaritas. Great food at reasonable prices. Friendly, attentive staff, but not overbearing. We will definitely be back, and would recommend to friends.

Las Margaritas has the best margaritas I've had in Vancouver.

Visiting from Alberta and craving authentic Mexican, Las Margaritas did not disappoint. Food was outstanding, appetizers, entrees, and dessert. Best lime margarita in years!!! We will miss this place until we can visit again!

Great atmosphere which is important to me. Good food and drinks. Waitress as very warm and friendly. Parking is expensive and hard to find. Overall I would definitely recommend Las Margaritas.

My enchiladas were good. My wife’s special seafood taco was dry and salmon was burnt. Drinks are expensive.

We frequently dine at Las Margaritas and the food is always fabulous, we have never had a disappointing experience. Our server, Rachel, was very friendly and attentive. We had a wonderful time!!

Delicious food! Excellent value for all of the incredible food we ate. We’re not from Vancouver but we would certainly eat here again should we be able to in future :)

No complaints have always had excellent service and food. Would appreciate a upgrade on house wine!

There aren’t many Mexican food options in Vanvouver, so it scores points for that. Also the location is good and the decor is fun.

I only gave it 3 stars though because with only one bartender it took way too long to get my glass of wine (20 minutes), my food was cold (because I waited to eat for everyone else at my table of 4 to be served and oddly my actual plate was cold while theirs were hot), and the food while passable was not at all memorable. Very average.

The quality of the food continues to decline. The chicken burrito lacked the flavour it once offered. Sadly the service was also terrible, from the hostess dropping menus on our table and walking away before we had even reached the table, to the 20 minutes to get our drink order, to our mains arriving while we were still eating our appetizer (still with no drink), it couldn't have been worse. Las Margaritas used to be a reliable favourite but now it feels like their goal is to move as many customers through in an hour as possible at the expense of the quality of the food and the dining experience.

Girlfriend Birthday

Server came to our table an hour after we arrived and only came by once after that. Food was good, but I only had the opportunity to order one drink.. and our drinks came after our food arrived, which I usually have a few drinks and was excited to try some different margaritas. It then took 30min to take away our dishes that were sitting empty in front of us. Will not be coming back cause I felt like nobody wanted to take care of us.

The food and service was excellent! Thanks for a great meal at the end of our vacation!

I had the tacos special. Not very good at all. I’d go back but order something else. My friend d had a burrito and loved it.

nom nom nom! A lifelong favourite of mine and it continues to be some of the best Mexican food you find in this city, or any other. It's lively, colourful and has a great selection - something for everyone. The enchilada suiza is a personal fave, or the appie platter.
