   We had high expectations after reading some of the reviews. Entering through the kitchen where we were greeted by the kitchen staff was pretty neat. The waiting staff was very professional and friendly. The meal began with delicious traditions however, the harvest meals of halibut and duck were beautifully presented but not good. The halibut was a little dry and not flavorful. The duck was cooked well but tough and hard to chew. Dessert was very good so we ended on a high note. Not sure we would return sad to say.

   Je suis un foodie et je fais beaucoup de restaurants gastronomiques. Plusieurs deceptions au niveau des plats surtout le thon. Et les paires de verres de vin bof et trop brièvement expliqués. Par contre tres bon service et ambiance. Expérience vs prix décevant

   Amazing Tasting menu experience. Nice touch at the beginning by bringing us through the Kitchen to meet the chef and his staff before the meal. While still a 5 star, some improvement could be seen with better pacing of the menu. Clearly we were on their schedule vs them being on our schedule.. Still amazing though.

    We really enjoyed LaurieRaphael! The staff was very attentive, and helpful with their menu. We felt the portion sizes were the perfect size. The food was tasty and well presented.

    From the moment we walked in, the welcome was warm and inviting. I liked the a fact we walked through the kitchen which was a unique experience. The food items were prepared with great care and beauty. Everything on the menu tasted delicious. I would definitely go back and hopefully during another season, so we can try different things. Highly recommend it if you looking for a unique dinning experience!

    Dining at Laurie Raphael is an unique experience. It starts when you step into their door. I won't spoil it for future guests, but it is worth the visit! Service was superb and the ambience was fitting of the experience. The dishes uses mostly local ingredient (if not all). It was not on the menu but if you don't want to get the full wine pairing, (like me who could not drink as much), they were able to procure a glass of wine based on your preference.

    Visited this restaurant on Nov 19, 2021 since it is very close to my hotel at Auberge St. Antoine. Tried their tasting menu and dishes were reflected their fine dining caliber well. Regretted not asking the server's name( a curvy beautiful young lady), she is truly shining on both service and manner. I don't think she was my server, she wasn't the one who took my order, but she served me almost from beginning to end, kept filling up my hot water due to my upset stomach that day, made my whole night at Laurie Raphael very enjoyable! Thank you, Miss

    Bonjour, le service et l’accueil était parfait, menu découverte pour 2, les parts étaient vraiment minimalistes par rapport au prix, un petit peu plus dans l’assiette serait appréciable les plats faisaient plus bouchée apéritif qu’assiette. Tout le reste était vraiment bien.

    Was a very nice experience even while under COVID guidelines and restrictions. Service was spot on and food very nice done. It was an all tuna menu done well. Looking forward to trying again when COVID is Over.

    Service beaucoup trop lent , on a du attendre au moins 40 minute avant d'avoir la carte des vins les plat de poisson était froid , parcontre le canard était bon et le fromage et sorbet très original

    My wife is a hard core foodie, and she loved it, though not all of the wines included in her Sommelier pairing. She liked the 'overall experience', calling it similar to some of the restaurants we've seen on the Netflix show, Chef' Table. I thought some of the plates were just too precious, not to mention tiny portions. (Thankfully, because by the end of the 10 courses, I was indeed quite full, and grateful for the long walk back to our hotel in the very cold, icy conditions to walk off some of the meal.) While the servers were great -- professional, good humored and friendly -- the overall service also seemed to me, again, a little too precious. Interesting wine pairings, surprised by the inclusion of a very cold Madeira, which was wonderful, and disappointed with the inclusion of Chianti Classico to go with our beef dish. Cost was over the top: $800 Cn. This is a spot for serious or faux foodies on an expense account, and folks for whom price is no object. The spacing among tables is excellent, you feel like you are in a full restaurant, but you can hear your companion and wait staff speaking very clearly, however, fyi, it is NOT a particularly romantic setting,

    Very pleased by our experience, the tasting menu was tasty, balancing tastefully innovation and classic gastronomy; they have a nice wine selection too, from exclusive producers to “bling” options. Overall we were very satisfied!

    One of the best of the best. We were there for a special Valentine's day tasting menu. I can only think of one or two other restaurants in my long life that are in this class. We looked at the regular tasting menus and they turned me into one of Pavlov's dogs. The wine pairings were not just appropriate and good, but creative and introduced us to wines and vineyards with which we were unfamiliar. One enters the restaurant proper by passing by an open kitchen and the chef shakes hands with you. Then into the dining room proper, beautifully decorated with tables nicely spaced. Our meal took over 2 ½ hours. Perfectly timed. Worth crossing many borders. And Quebec City is a jewel

    A ce prix, ce n'est pas une expérience que je pourrais renouveler souvent! La qualité et la diversité des mets, du service (on replie notre serviette et replace notre fauteuil quand on se lève pour les toilettes!), l'ambiance (on a l'impression d'être dans une loge dédiée tant le volume sonore est bas alors qu'on est dans une salle)... On a eu plus de 3 heures pour 9 services! Une expérience! Prix justifié.

    The tasting menu was absolutely fabulous, and I was really impressed with everything that came by. I got the sommelier wine pairing and thought all of the pairings were enjoyable and made sense with the food. They also made an amazing cocktail for me in the bar area before we sat down at the dining table. The food really was virtually flawless. Make sure you ask for the bread and butter, since they don't bring it automatically. Also, be prepared to sit there awhile since our meal took 3.5 hours

    J'ai adoré mon expérience, mais je n'ai pas eu l'"effet Wow". J'ai trouvé également le prix beaucoup trop dispendieux, finissant ainsi mon expérience avec un goût amer. Je ne le recommanderai donc pas le restaurant à cause de cela.
