My experience at Le Baccara was outstanding. 5 stars all around. Everything was perfect. Now, this is a case where you pay for the value you get back in return. The meals were outstanding from presentation to taste. The service could have left me in tears. So professional, considerate and made sure we were well serviced throughout from napkin colour to topping our wine glass. Again, this is a 5 star all around!

Partie of 4 (long time friendship 30 years) for them it was their first experience. We commonly decided to this it every year to celebrate and embrase the luck we have for that long lasting friendship. The service always surpasse the expectation. My husband convinced his body to pay it all in for the 7 course surprise. This is are 2 times per year treat. It's really worth saving to experience this once a year. It like a ''Plaisir coupable''.

Nous avons tout apprécié à partir de l'accueil, l'attention (pas trop, juste assez); la qualité des plats ainsi que la quantité servie. Une bonne valeur qualité-prix. Un conseil pour les serveurs: ne pas suggérer qu'un vin parce qu'il a un an de moins, est forcément meilleur qu'un autre - cela peut dépendre d'autres variables comme le cépage et si ce fut ou non une "bonne" année selon les experts.

Le Baccara... Oh my goodness I love this restaurant!! I'm a perfectionist by nature and it's the only restaurant where everything is... perfect (to me): The warm welcoming at the entrance, the atmosphere, the openness, the music, the comfortable chairs, the dimmed lights with candles, the professional yet friendly server and staff... and then there's the subliminal food, the extraordinary wine pairing and so on with the 7 course meal of pur delight, impressive presentations and surreal aromas that bombard my nose and palate on all fronts. People, I experienced the perfect client experience. Again. (Been going for 20 years.) My wife and I were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and we decided on the spot to increase our visit to le Baccara to twice a year. Thank you everyone at le Baccara!!

The lobster and veal was delicious but the lobster and scallop dinner wasn't quite as great - the flavour of the sauce and green side (pasta/beans?) didn't have much flavor. The salad appetizer with romaine, goat cheese, figs, is incredible. As was the creme brulee. My veal and lobster were cooked to perfection and the Service!! Wow. This place is worth it just to be treated like a queen.

Sans contredit une des meilleures table dans la region, et aussi une des plus cheres. Mais avec le decor et le comfort, cela vaut le prix. La carte des vins egalement est tres etoffee, de belles trouvailles. Le service en revanche n'est pas tout a fait a la hauteur de la cuisine (la cuisine: 5 etoiles, en plus elle est hyper propre et il n'y a aucun bruit qui emane de la cuisine ouverte) - nous avons ete servi par 4 ou 5 differents serveurs ou serveuses durant le repas et evidemment, ils revenaient pour nous poser les memes questions ou nous proposer les memes choses... qui fait quoi au Baccarat? Donc ma femme et moi avons ete interrompu souvent dans notre discussion sans reelle valeur ajoutee, les serveurs (euses) devraient se passer les infos (si ma femme ne veut plus de vin pas besoin de lui demander 5 fois). Malgre le nombreux staff, il etait difficiel de faire un "eye contact" pour obtenir qqch ou poser une question. Bref le service fait ce qu'il veut, au client de s'adapter....

We make it a point to celebrate special occasions here. Le Baccara is, without doubt, the best restaurant experience in the national capital region. There is not one aspect of the experience - ambience, food, wine, and service that isn’t outstanding. Parking Details
Parking is free, and the P5 parking lot can accommodate recreational vehicles (although camping on the site is prohibited). Valet service is free for Casino Privilèges members, Hilton guests and Le Baccara restaurant customers. Docks accommodating up to 20 pleasure crafts are available from 9 a.m. to 4 a.m. from mid-May to mid-October (except during special events).
Public Transit
Bus 21 crosses Ottawa and Gatineau and leads to the Casino du Lac-Leamy.Bus fares are free for tourists staying at participating Ottawa and Gatineau hotels. Ask hotel reception personnel.A paid shuttle is available from outside Gatineau and Ottawa. See the Casino’s web site for more details.
