Cocktails before the meal. Then oysters and caviar with champagne and an excellent meal. All was wonderful quality. The restaurant is in a superb location by Tower Bridge. The staff were attentive and friendly whilst being professional. For a celebration meal and experience it's difficult to beat.

Bit tired and dated. I remember it fully booked years ago but today it was virtually empty. Feels like it needs a complete refresh of the decor and menu. The food and wine however are excellent and my guests much enjoyed the lunch.

Dear Keith, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We noticed that your review focuses primarily on the appearance and atmosphere of the restaurant, mentioning that it felt a bit dated — which we appreciate as honest feedback. However, you also gave a three-star rating for the food, and we were curious if there was anything specific about the food itself that influenced that rating, as it wasn’t mentioned in your comments. We understand your comments regarding the decor and overall atmosphere. While the space holds a lot of history and charm, we are actively working on an exciting new chapter for Le Pont de la Tour — including refreshed interiors. Kind regards, Team Le Pont de la Tour

Excellent, well-judged service. Really good food - 5* for quality although 4* for ungenerous portion sizes (in part). Interesting wine list but I think the mark-ups on the wine are just that bit too high. I've been dining there since the mid 90s and it's still very good indeed but more a 4.5* and I wonder if this is the reason it was pretty empty.

Overall a very pleasant experience, staff are incredibly friendly and offer great recommendations. The price is quite high but the location can, in some way, justify it. Whilst I'd say the food was very good it wasn't anything mind blowing. The location is fantastic, ambience, great. A great restaurant if you're willing to pay for the privilege of its location. 4.2/5.
