This was somewhat a disappointing experience. The slaw salad was lovely, the Satay I ordered tasted great. Two other main dishes: Lamb and pork ribs lacked any taste, were very very bland and unimpressive despite the high price tag. The water glasses were dirty from the outside, the two spoons we were brought for our dessert had a thick layer of food on them. We ordered coffee with our desert and even though the drinks were confirmed with our table twice no coffee was brought at the end. I was very surprised (not in a good sense) with this experience. Judging by the price tag I would have expected slightly more class and cleanliness.
I've dined here a few times during special occasions and it's always great. I would say not every dish wows me and the food is on the pricier end. But I appreciate that the dishes are always inventive and fun to try. You can tell the ingredients are top notch. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and decor is on point. This time, we were seated next to a couple who was having a fight. It was a bit unsavory and the seats are pretty close together, so we had to unfortunately hear the entire argument (and profanity). Other than that, I had a nice dinner and would dine here again.
We waited 30 mins between 1st and 2nd course which was pretty annoying to be honest, but the food, as usual was very good. Apart from the wait for both the beginning and dessert, the food was special, and loved the ambiance.
It was a lovely evening for Dinner and my wife took me out for a Birthday. We had the Turbot and Braised beef that was just great. The oyster Ceasar was great.
20 ingredient slaw was amazing. Also tried the polenta cake, lettuce wraps, a couple of signature cocktails and molten chocolate cake. All were great. Service was great too.
We chose Lee as the Restaurant for our Valentines date night and as always it was a superb dining experience. Ambience, service and exceptional food are a premier experience each and every time. The off menu items proved to be a tasting delight. We also had the pleasure of a brief chat with Susur as he greeted guests on the evening of our date. Lee is hands down our first choice for dinner when we are in Toronto.

Lee was absolutely phenomenal, the service we experienced was amazing. Our server guided us through the menu when we had questions and had great recommendations. The food was incredible, a total experience. We don’t dine out at this price often, this was 100% worth it. I recommend coming with a bigger group, or a double date, so you’ll be able to try more dishes! Come hungry, Lee will deliver.

Fantastic. Excellent customer service. A1 service. Our table was always cleaned within a moment's notice and drinks were always refilled. The food was really delicious. We enjoyed the sharable concept as it allowed us to try more dishes. Thank you Lee staff for a great experience!

Not worth it. Portion sizing was poor. Got little value and there was a constant push to upsell.
Valentine’s Day dinner was very unorganized. We got there for our reserved time and they said it could be up to 30 min wait. Then between the different courses we waited for almost 45 min even with a reminder. food was amazing but service was not great that night.
We were there on Valentines day. Booked a table for 8:45 ended up waiting 20 minutes for it because they were so busy. They only had their “valentines day menu”. $98/person. Gnocchi sucked. We had to return it. We had two more dishes coming. The one dish came and we were already full, so we told the waiter to pack that dish and the next one and just bring us the dessert. Trusting the waiter, we didn’t check the bag of our packed food. When we came home, he had only packed one dish and not our last dish! We paid $250 for two and ended up coming home with missing dishes. We’d like a compensation for this bad mess-up for a “high end” restaurant!
Outstanding is the only word to describe our dining experience at Lee. We were lucky to get a table for the Valentine's Day Special Menu. We were warmly greeted at the door and given a table for two by the front window. Our waiter appeared promptly to explain the special menu and point out the alternative vegetarian choice. Someone then came by to take our drinks order. The menu was generous with six creative and tasty gourmet items all meticulously hand-crafted by Susur and his kitchen staff. We went from Oyster and Crab Gratin, to Shrimp Cheung Fun, to Gnocchi Carbonara, to an Omaha Steak served with a mature Pomerol, finishing with a Fruit and Cream Tart, all dishes beautifully presented in prompt but unhurried succession by a team of wait staff. Outstanding. Lee is a Toronto treasure.

The slaw was amazing!! Our server was very helpful and kind, recommended us the “cheese burger spring rolls” and it was one of my favorite bites of the night! Must try this place 💕

We went for winterlicious and it did not disappoint! Our waiter convinced us to try the signature slaw and it was super tasty - must try. We had the beet salad and pizza for app, grouper and braised beef for entree. The grouper was delicious but the braised beef was outstanding - the meat just falls apart upon gentle pressure! Great atmosphere, portions were really good. We had an amazing time.
I felt very rushed I wasn’t finished my food and the server just took my plate without asking. I was really disappointed in the service eclectically since I haven’t been there in a while I had higher expectations.
We had made reservations for their winterlicious event. We were given our bill before we had received all of our courses. Then once we paid we were waiting for our desserts, after about 10 more minutes we figured there was an issue. We asked the waiter for our desserts and he forgot and came back with just one. Then we had to remind him we both had winterlicious, so he went back to get another one. We had already paid and tipped at this point, so after this happening we were very frustrated since we didn’t get the service we expected. Manager did not really seemed shocked and said “it happens”. Unfortunate experience with lee, expected much more.
Went there for Winterlicous on a Sunday evening. Food and service were great. Enjoyed my time there. Only thing that stopped this from being a perfect experience was: Tables were very close to one another which did not afford any privacy.
I went there two weekends back to back. Food is phenomenal.

We were there for Winterlicious. It was wonderful. We have been to Lee’s many time’s and have enjoyed it every time!
Our only issue was that our server only topped up my husband’s wine glass and not mine. I thought it was odd the first time, but after the second I couldn’t understand. Otherwise, a great night!
We were in for a Saturday night early dinner. 3 of us had the Winterlicious menu. 3 went off the regular menu. Every dish was outstanding. We shared around so everyone tasted pretty much everything. They were very accommodating on working around some food allergies also. Stand out dishes were the Singapore slaw, the roast chicken and the beef short rib. Will definitely be back soon.
Always love going and we went for Winterlicious this time. Food was excellent quality and up to our expectations for Lee. Sometimes Winterlicious menus are not up to standard but Lee never disappoints. I find it a little dark though.
Lee restaurant was outstanding. The flavours of every dish are precise and burst in your mouth. But above all what makes this restaurant exceptional is the staff. The service is unparalleled, whenever you’re water is done someone is there to fill it back up. The explanation of every dish is so in depth it really makes you feel like they care about you and love their job. Our waitress was Khedi she was so nice, attentive and explained everything so well. I would give 7 stars to the staff at this restaurant, it makes you want to come back.
Consistently excellent, Chef Lee and his staff still deliver one of the best over all dining experiences. Stylish ambience, smooth service and the flavours and presentations that have become a benchmark for other fusion cuisines in the city.
