Good food! However, salads are not included with the entrees. I also don’t like when restaurants charge a plate sharing fee. It’s a lot of food!
Food was delicious, server was great and we are had a great time.
Always a warm, friendly atmosphere where Dante makes you feel welcome and appreciated. Food is excellent and service is prompt and personal.
I understand the restaurant was extremely busy. The food came out lukewarm at best. Service was extremely slow. We had ask for every drink refill. I had to clear the table to get the dirty dishes out from underneath myself. If you’re going to take that many reservations, maybe should bring on extra staff to accommodate for that size of a group! I would come back for a small group night out, but I would think twice before bringing an important large group.
I was there for Mother’s Day.
I was very disappointed. We were placed at a hitop in the bar. I did have a reservation.
I have been to LIBERATORE’S many times in past and was happy with my experience.
Our service this time was rushed and food was cold and lacked flavor
We go to Liberatore’s every few months for a nice meal out with the family. Dante, the owner, is a man unlike any other, working the room and greeting each guest as if he’s known them for years — many whom he has. He came to our table frequently and played a fun game with our kids that resulted in two complimentary desserts for our next visit (which would have been for this visit if we hadn’t already closed out our check), the goal being to get my kids to open up and have fun while there — and he was a magician with them. He had my quiet daughter chattering away by night’s end. We go for the food, ambience, and to support the fine owner who makes the place special. And, this is where we go for every Christmas Eve dinner, too. A+
Awesome as usual! You cannot find a better place for dinner.
Liberatore’s is always delicious! Our meal took about fifty minutes to arrive at our table after ordering, but when it arrived it was hot and tasty.
Great food and very accommodating for our large party
The fish was good . Lamb was gamey.
The kitchen was able to handle special requests.
Two of us went on a crowded Saturday night with a reservation and had only a short wait. You are always made to feel welcome. The Shrimp Scampi and Salmon Nicola were excellent; the portions large. It was quite noisy because of the crowd.
It’s a great place. The food is always tasty and it pretty much the only Italian place in town. The owner is there a lot and he’s very friendly.
Our waitress was fantastic and the food was great. Although I’ve had good experiences here before, but my most recent visit was one to make me think twice about returning. Not only were we seated in the room clearly designated for large parties, there was one that convened just after we ordered. On top of this already uncomfortable situation, several members of the party commented on how my and my boyfriend’s presence inconvenienced them. This was apparently so much the case that one of the party members approached us and requested that we move tables. I really hope the staff if more considerate to their guests on the future.
The owner Dante was great. Server was above average. Veal was a little tougher then I like. It was a busy Saturday night so food and drinks were a little slower then average. Overall, a nice place with a nice old school Italian ambiance.
In 29 years I have never had s bad meal here. Love Lib’s and often use the bar for Girls Night
I took five young adults to dinner on a busy Saturday night. The staff attention, food, and respect given to my young family and friends were all stellar. Bravo Dante and team!
Have eaten at this location several times over the years but was a little disappointed with this visit. Service was a little below my expectations and the cream of crab soup was disappointing. The soup kept separating and needed to be stirred consistently to keep the ingredients combined and it tasted like there was raw flour added to it to thicken it. The entrees were on par with expectations. So in conclusion service was average the soup was well below average and the entrees were above average. Hopefully this was a one time experience and not a trend. Will visit again hopefully with a better experience.
great place. Fridays could get very busy and noisy.. but always a great time and awesome food.
Love it here!! One of my all time favorites and never disappointed.
Meal missed the mark. Came in for Lobster special Tuesday. Vegetables were mushy and Lobster tough and very over cooked .... crab was ok. Waiter did not ask if we wanted a drink other than water so we didn't order any. Hostess very friendly and person who helped the waiter was very good.
Consistently great food, nice variety on the menu, comfortable atmosphere!
Overall, our main dishes were very good and were generous portions. I had the filet/shrimp kabob special, and my wife had the halibut. My house salad was served too cold and the creamy Italian dressing wasn't very creamy. The bread was 'doughy' and disappointing. I remembered the bread last time being outstanding. My biggest disappointment was the house wine. I had a chianti and a chardonay, my wife had a cabernet. They were okay at best, but when the check arrived, I was dismayed they charged me more than the advertised price from their website. Online, it was $5.95/ glass, but on my check, it was $7.95. Adding tax and tip, and this meant it was at least $10 for each glass. Personally, I'm tired of being overcharged for wines and may become the designated driver in the future. Restaurants should be able to buy decent wines in bulk as their house wine and offer a value to their customers. At least, keep your web site prices consistent with your in-house prices.
Good food, good service, good times!! Always a pleasure!!
We always have a good meal. Last night my husband and I had the ravioli with portabella mushrooms. Outstanding! Lightly sauced and delicate pasta
This was our first Valentine’s Day together and I’m so glad we spent it at Liberatore’s. It’s my favorite local restaurant!
It was Valentine's Day, so busier than usual. Even with a crowd, Dante always makes you feel like you are his top priority. Service was excellent, and the limited menu still had a good variety. We'll be back.
Always fantastic food. Favorites are Caesar or Auggie Salad, shrimp nest, calamari, chicken Giovanni, and anything veal. Try any of the desserts!
This is one of my favorite restaurants. You can dress up or down whatever you prefer. The food and the wait staff is one of the best around including the bartenders, the kitchen staff and of course, Dante, the owner, who will do whatever it takes to make your dining a pleasurable experience. You are always greeted with a huge welcome when you arrive and a thank you when you leave. My husband and I have dined here on several occasions, our latest one being Valentine's Day. Although we did have reservations, it was just as good as any other time of the year and the staff was just as attentive and the food was superb as usual. We have used Liberatore's for their catering services as well and found it to be just as good and will definitely use them again.
Dante loves his restaurant and it shows. The menu was limited for Valentine’s Day. It was excellent
Given wrong carry out dessert...........11111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111
Very good service and atmosphere. Prices were reasonable. Appetizer was very good. Main Entrée special (stuffed Lobster tails) were overcooked which detracted from the texture and flavor -- disappointing. Good dessert. Food has generally been better on previous visits.
Liberatore's is comfortably like dining at Cheers! If you live in the neighborhood, you are always going to run into someone you know! The food, the service, the atmosphere is always enjoyable! Thanks again Libs!!!
There was plenty of seating at 5pm on a Friday night but then it got busy quickly after that. I had the eggplant parm which was out of this world. It looked like a lasagna it was stacked so high and you received pasta on the side - Had to take that home as a second meal. The Crab dip was creamy and very tasty. Was very pleased with the meal and the service was fantastic. This was my first visit and will definitely be going again.
Quiet Sunday venting dinner. Requested & had Table next to a Wall for good conversation. All entrees, especially lobster special, salmon and shrimp risotto were very good. South African Cabernet Savignon very good.
Having found Liberatore's about two years ago, we have become regulars. They always greet you like old family friends and they cater to your every need. The food never disappoints and there is always something new to try. The deserts are large with seasonal selections and are as well prepared as the rest of the meal. We've started meeting up with friends there to enjoy a meal and conversation which is easy to do as the background noise allows for everyone to be heard without yelling. If you are tired of chain restaurants and mass market "italian" food and are ready to experience an old school family restaurant with simply flavourful food that you wish you could prepare yourself, then it's time to try Liberatore's.
I've been to every Liberatore's location and I've never been disappointed. I like each of them for different reasons. But, the food is always good.
Always like this place. Family run to very friendly, food is very good and at a great value. Try it out!
Donte has a way of making you feel like family and the food as always, top shelf !
Always have great food and great service. So glad that this great restaurant is only a 5 minute drive from where we live --- easily go there 2 or 3 times a week.
My wife and I discussed about a dozen other options in Eldersburg and Columbia and it still landed on Liberatore's!!!!!
