This restaurants prices are extortionate with very little choice, considering it is part of a hotel which it's rooms have kitchen facilities, it does not make you want to return there. 2 of our 5 meals had to be sent back as they were way undercooked and we were made to feel that we were being fussy for not wanting to eat salmon that was raw in the middle. There was no apology or even an offer of any form of compensation although by the time we received the new meals, the rest of us had long finished and they had even cleared the majority of the table , which made us feel even more awkward. Such a shame as it is such a picturesque part of the world, with much more inviting and reasonably priced restaurants minutes away.

We arrived at 11:30 for a Birthday lunch, including grown daughters who needed to get back to work by 1pm. They didn't seem quite ready for the lunch service yet and were just finishing breakfast service. But they quickly set up the table for 6 of us and let us order drinks. Since the kitchen wasn't quite ready for lunch trade, they apologized that it might take a few extra minutes for the food. But it didn't take long. The food was exquisite. We had a WONDERFUL birthday lunch. It was quiet enough for all of us to talk together around and across the table. We will definitely go back! Other folks can sit outside, we enjoyed the quiet inside. The birthday dessert with "Happy Birthday" in choclate on the rim of the dish was beautiful.

It surprised me how long it took (30 minutes) to get a glass of wine. Maybe because I was waiting for my friend who was late? But this should not exclude me from receiving service, should it? For the high class restaurant The Lido projects itself to be I would think that service would be number one, and it was not. Everyone was friendly, just not responsive.

Went to Lido for my wedding anniversary, party of five. I understand it's "fine" dining , but as a sous chef The portions are extremely petite to say the least. And neither of our ribeyes were cooked medium rare they were both medium, but the server never checked on us until the meal was completed so we have no way to correct it. And they brought me a happy birthday ice cream at the end... did I mention it was my anniversary ?

Disappointing. It was loud seated between the pool and restaurant with competing loud music. Food was overcooked. Previous visits were much more satisfactory but this was a major letdown especially gor the price.

We stopped here on our drive home from Paso Robles and it was very nice. The outdoor seating was great because you're by the ocean. The good was great and so were the endless mimosas they offer for brunch. The service was a bit slow, but it didn't hinder our time there.

We have visited Lido everytime we are in the area!! We have loved it !! This time the food was OK but not special, we were seated in an out of the way space even with reservations and the cost was very high for the quality of the food!! We will find somewhere else to eat. Maybe the changes are do to the Restaurant Manager Colin Tharp leaving??

The food is outstanding but you will pay for it but worth it. I was disappointed that they were out of halibut. The carpaccio app is large so sharing is great. The pizzas are also great and there was good music

Birthday luncheon on the patio was very pleasant. Ironically waitor, Dominic, shared flag day birthday as well. Food was outstanding. Great place to unwind and enjoy the view.

Chris our server is a professional. Ashley continues to serve us and act like she's never met us. Happy hour is great but sad to look at an empty restaurant inside. Need to integrate physically outside and in. Head Somm is awesome.

We showed up for our 8pm reservation and were told the wait would be 1 hour to get our food and it was our choice if we wanted to stay... subtle hostess... real subtle. Basically was telling us to leave unless we wanted to wait all night. This is after hearing another guest complain about waiting an hour to receive a drink and pleading for service. Really bad overall and not excusable for a place that claims to be fine dining.

We made a reservation and still had to wait to be seated upon arrival. A little, irritating, but not a huge deal. Once seated, however, we waited around at least 15 minutes and no one had come by to our table or even acknowledged our presence. (And this is supposed to be a "fine dining" establishment?!) We had plenty of time to stare at our menus but nothing looked remotely appealing. Disgusted, we got up and left. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We have eaten here many times and have always had a great experience. This time the food took FOREVER, we waited over an hour between the clearing of our starters and our main course. When we finally got the main it was below average. It was quite expensive for mediocre food and service. Waiter was very nice, attentive and apologetic, this was out of his control, something very wrong in the kitchen.

Service was terrible. We waited 1.5 hours for our food. They were understaffed and apparently the chef quit !! Management did not do a good job of damage co trolls, therefore there were many unhappy customers.

We dined at the Lido twice while staying at Dolphin Bay. We enjoyed a lovely white wine from Italy with our meals. I had Tasmanian trout for the first time, served with parsnip puree. We had a nice bread sampler as an appetizer. Service was attentive.

This was the worst dining experience of my life. Had the reservation for a week but was sat an hour after my reservation. After being seated we waited 20 minutes before one of my group decided to go in and ask for drinks. Someone finally came and took our first drink order, but another 20 minutes later we had to go ask where the drinks were. Finally drinks came out and the waiter dumped a whole glass of mimosa down my friend's back. We cleaned it up and changed out the tables ourselves since they disappeared again. So a few of us had drinks and we had to ask again for someone to bring the rest of us drinks... We were sitting for almost an hour before he took our food order. Waiter kept complaining about his job as to why he couldn't service our table properly. Manager gave us an eye roll apology, tried to make it up to us with free bloodies but she seemed super annoyed to have to apologize to us. Food was mediocre, potatoes overdone, my oysters were literally the size of a dime. I've been here before several times and had great experiences, not sure what was going on this day, but it absolutely ruined my birthday. I was so embarrassed to take my friends there. Most of us are in the food/wine/service industry so we know that there are bad days, but this was completely unacceptable start to finish. I won't be back.

We have dined here many time for lunch and dinner on our yearly trips to this area. We were visiting with a friend we hadn't seen in a year, and also we were staying at the resort for 2 nights. Big mistake to choose brunch. We had no idea that the "3-course, bottomless mimosa brunch" would be so popular, as it was packed with several large groups and the noise was deafening. We had a great table by the window with an ocean view, but regretted not asking to dine outside to escape the noise, but those tables were full. Our order was taken quickly, but it was downhill after that. Our waitress disappeared as we saw every other table get served, including tables that had been filled after we had been seated. Because we were enjoying visiting our friend and concentrating on hearing above the noise, we lost track of time. Suddenly we saw that many tables had emptied, and it had been 75 minutes since we had arrived-- but STILL no food. We motioned to the waitress who looked stressed at our angry look, and she came over to say our order was next. I don't recall how much longer it was but we still waited even longer. Finally we were served, but there was no apology. At the end, we received the bill which incorrectly overcharged us by $50. We called this to her attention, and said we felt that in addition to correcting the bill, we felt there should be some type of adjustment. She removed the charge on our friend's one glass of champagne. The food was fine-- good salad with beets/goat cheese, great eggs benedict, duck hash, eggs florentine, and creme brulee. Things could have gone better if there had been an explanation and apology.

Limited menu but as long as everyone in the party can find something he/she likes you'll be fine. Priced well/fair for the area and location- prime spot for a sunset, patio heaters for outside. We enjoyed ourselves. Excellent for date night, special occasions - wouldn't be able to afford on a regular basis. Had the trout- delicious and friends had the rib eye- also delicious.
